In the last month I came in a few times with a NEW Durango with AC not working and the ORIGINAL Trailer Hitch electrical not working. 1st time their AC machine wasn't working, so they only looked at the hitch electrical but said I would have to come back to have re-programmed. (John M said it would take 10 minutes to program). 2nd time their AC machine magically wasn't working again and then they Charged me 1 hour labour for a 10 minute programming to the hitch electrical. This is something that should have been working from the start! All Chrysler cars with a Factory hitch Installed have this ON, (otherwise they would have to activate after the fact which I would understand). I did not go back the 3rd time because I cannot trust them. They ripped me off. This should have been a warranty item. (2016 Durango with 12k) John M did not advise to me that I would have to pay to have this programmed... Its a NEW car... this is Warranty work... it wasn't done properly at the factory by error in my view. I believe I deserve my $118 refunded back to me. Martin BTW. Hello Louann, I recently purchased a new truck from the Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat dealership in Georgetown and had a less then ideal experience. After talking to others about my experience, I realized that many others have had the same horrible experience with this dealership as I did. I don't usually write complaint letters, but I hope by writing this It can prevent someone from being burned like we were! June 22 my husband and I purchased a brand new 2015 dodge ram. We went with the SXT model and asked for a few things to be added (remote starter, spray in liner, rustproofing, and leather seats). This is not our first time buying a new vehicle and we were a little skeptical about changing the seats to leather (because we couldn't see it before hand) but we were assured that the leather they were putting in was top quality, the same stuff they use for high end vehicle and that it would look better then any leather that was stock. So we said ok, put the leather in. The next day we get a phone call from the finance manager saying that everything was approved but that they have a little problem...... Since we have bought so close to the end of the month (?!?!), they will not be able to put anything we had asked for in the car and that in order for us to get our discounts we must take possession of the truck by June 30th and make 4 separate appointments on our own time, to bring it back and have everything done. So we said "are your crazy? No, we are not picking it up until it's all done". Even though we were down to 1 car, we were willing to wait to make sure it was done properly. So they call us back and say "ok we will get if done for you, be here to pick up the truck June 30th". So June 30th arrives and we take a look in the truck before we go into sign the papers. We knew right away even just by looking in the window that something wasn't right with the leather. So we go in to sit down and talk to the finance manager, and the first thing he says is "I just wanted to let you know that they did an AMAZING job with the leather in the truck! It looks so nice that I had to call everyone in the shop to come see it!" So me and my husband look at each other with a face because we could tell by the away he was acting that something was going on. After repeatedly asking to see the truck before we signed the papers, they give us the keys and we go have a look. Sure enough the leather was HORRENDOUS. It seriously looked like we brought it to the flea market to get done, definitely didn't look like we just spent and extra $2000 on it. You could see the foam where the seatbelt is, on one of the passengers side the leather was all scratched up and on the centre console, the leather was so loose you could literally grab it with your hand. Not to mention that the plastic foot step on the car was all scratched and broken and that the car was dirty!!!!! They didn't even try to clean it a bit! Like seriously NOTHING. So we said "there is no way that we are taking this truck home" after lots of time and arguing, they told us that we have to buy a truck from them because we signed a contract and they gave us an ultimatum, take the truck at a discount or buy another truck off them. After lots of thinking we decided to go with another truck. It was ALOT more money ($13,000 more). Another brand new 2015 dodge ram, only this was the sport. In all fairness it was a truck my husband originally wanted and they did give us a good deal on it. So here I am thinking "ok, everything is done and we can move on from this". Clearly not, and this is when I realized that what had happened was not just a mistake, and that the managers at this place truly have no clue about customer service and do not deserve any business. They new truck was not only dirty again!!!! But once we got home we saw a rust spot on the inside of the back hatch!! THIS IS A BRAND NEW $53,000 TRUCK AND THEY TELL US "that's too bad, we'll try and fix that up for you later" This whole experience has been really heart wrenching. Our salesman that sold us the truck was honestly a really amazing guy and you could tell how disappointed he was over what had happened, but unfortunately something's are just out of his control and when you work for a dealership where everyone around you just doesn't care then there is not much he can do! I recently entered the "No Stress Holiday Shopping Event $10,000 a day Giveaway" contest at Georgetown Chrysler and 3 days after entering I received a phone call from a very friendly lady at FCA Canada advising me that I had won! I don't usually enter contests so I didn't know what to expect but the process for collecting my prize was very simple and very straight forward. I am thrilled! To add to this, my 2 daughters & I have all purchased vehicles and we couldn't be more happy with our purchases and the customer service we've received in both the sales & service departments. This company deserves no stars and is a total rip off. Been there for oil change with my town and country van and they told me my transmission was leaking. I told them I wasn't going to repair at the moment. I got a second advice and nothing wrong with transmission. I just recently called for a quote for the worse scenario i said for brakes (pads, rotors and calipers) the gentleman John very friendly gave me a price i wrote it down asked if labour included yes he said. So i called two other mechanic shops for quotes and all prices in same range but I liked how Chrysler has the pad warranty so i booked with Chrysler to get done. My husband takes van. Gino the rudest individual lacking customer skills calls me telling me the van needs the calipers so i agree to do since i had already quoted for them just in case. 3 hrs later, my husband ends up paying double the total we were quoted not knowing what cost i was quoted. I call Gino. The rudest man on the phone tells me thats the price quoted and i must of misunderstood quote. Doesn't make sense as i compare to all the other mechanic shops and all the same range in quote and i end up losing double in my pocket. Scammers from the start with false transmission leak now this. SAVE YOUR $$$ GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SERVICE VEHICLE. read more
