There's a couple of advisors (Jeremy C. and Pedro M.) that collude which clients they'll take on based on referrals. The branch manager David S. fully supports this conduct. In fact if you look at Jeremy C.'s clients 99% of them are only white. If you complain about it, the regional manager Cindy C. will ensure you don't get an advisor anywhere else in the GTA. This CIBC branch is absolutely corrupt, and does not treat clients fairly let alone provide CIBC Imperial products and services equally to all customers. They also work on a different time zone in a matter of speaking. They're always late seeing clients, never respecting customer's time. As far as receiving sound investment advice, Jeremy C. is the only capable advisor there, but in actuality it's near impossible to have him as an advisor especially if you're of color. The only other advisor similar to Jeremy C. within Mississauga, Milton, Georgetown and Brampton is Shane Coulter working out of the CIBC branch near Square One mall. Also proving to be very selective and unreliable. I personally was accepted by Shane to become his client, but after over night changed his mind after speaking with the Georgetown branch in question. The matter has been escalated to CIBC CEO office (Joseph Dunn) only to be told advisors have the discretion to pick and choose which clients they want to take on. Of which CIBC advisors used the BS statement of being at capacity when they don't want to take on a client. CIBC does not offer products and services equally across the board for all clients. They arbitrarily decide who they want as a client and who gets what service. The Georgetown South branch is particularly selective and if you complain about anything, they will become your adversary and penalize you by ignoring you, withdrawing services, and even worse boxing you into a situation forcing you to leave CIBC and going to another financial institution. Whether you have $100K or $2 MIL with CIBC, they don't care and are entirely protectionists toward their jobs and offer absolutely no accountability toward how they treat their so called customers.

The dealership told us that we wouldn't have to service the car for at least 8 months. In reality, within days we discovered a loud squeaking from the wheels and, after checking, learned the front tires had only 3mm of tread left: almost at the legal minimum. This means they knowingly sold us a vehicle that will need new tires within weeks, not months. When I raised the issue, the dealership admitted the tread depth but dismissed it, saying the car had "passed safety," and refused to do anything. Passing the bare minimum safety standard does not equal selling a safe, roadworthy car. This was misleading, unsafe, and shows a complete lack of honesty and accountability. If you value safety, transparency, and trust, do yourself a favor -- never buy a car from this dealership.
