Overpriced and super outdated hardware being put into their prebuilt computers. $4k for a computer using a cpu from 2018 and a 4060 gpu is straight up scam pricing. For that price you can get a 5080 with 9800x3d which would be 50x better for gaming and productivity (and no that's not an exaggeration). I found this business about 5 years ago and found the man who ran the business to be quite informative, albeit prickly. I purchased several thousands of dollars of computer hardware and was convinced to join his IT help club for $108.00 per month. What I didn't realize was that when you join, it is for a three year commitment at a cost of around $4,000.00. Dwight, the owner, showed himself to be less than up front in his IT dealings. He was frequently condescending and rude and even charged the monthly fee while off on holidays for a few weeks while the store was closed. When I raised these concerns in a review of his computer shop on his web site, he responded with toxicity about me as a customer and of course that he had done nothing wrong. Dwight may be good at computers, which is up for debate, but he lacks accountability and fairness, at least in his dealings with me. OMG, stay away from this place. I went in with my less than 3 year old laptop, had a virus and the guy said it could not be removed, and talked me into buying one of his. Ended up costing over 900, and the thing died three months later and he wouldn't return it or fix it. Something with the screen went bad and it has black spots or dead spot or pixels whatever. I took my original laptop that had the virus to another place and they cleared it out and fixed it up, for 145.47 total and only two hours. I went to see if they could test and see what was wrong with my computer. Seems they are more interested in selling people a new computer then solving what is wrong with the one they own. After visiting their shop with my problem,I found Evergreen computers where much more helpful and were willing to checkout my computer and solved my problems. Think twice. Owner and "technician", Dwight, said he'd scrub my four month old computer and install a new clean Windows 10. Cost would be $190 cash. Dwight removed computer covering and tried to sell me an upgraded hard drive. Had to say no twice, after telling him I didn't want the computer taken apart as it was a software issue, not hardware. Job was estimated to take two hours. Might have taken 30 minutes as no sooner did I get home did I receive a call to pick up computer. Arrived to pick up and noticed Windows 10 looked off. The "new clean" OS was in fact a bootlegged copy of his Windows OS, complete with old (and empty) file folders which at some point in time contained his families' files. To boot, the software he sold me was upgraded from Windows 7. Told me I needed better anti-malware and offered Emsisoft for $60 cash. Said he normally charges clients $110 (can buy direct from Emsisoft website for $35). Said I would never have malware issues. I gave in to the sales pitch. $250 to get computer working, for four (4) days. Anti-malware software failed. No product key so Emsisoft couldn't help - requested over and over and took an entire day to receive, all while computer was dying. Computer was toast - called Dwight, dropped computer off again. Called later that day, said could fix but I'd have to pay again "for his time". No way. I picked up the computer and scrubbed it myself, saving the $190 (less the cost of the usb stick needed to make recovery usb order to carry out a clean install). Do a little research and save your money. Scrubbing a computer and reinstalling Windows 10 is easy and FREE. Takes less than an hour. My recommendation is to avoid this place. I went to Concept Computers for the first time last month and have been quite overwhelmed with the care, concern and help given me by the owner Dwight. He went way beyond what I was expecting, way beyond the norm, in his efforts to help me and get my computer repaired and set up for use. I told him the next time I need to buy a computer, I will definitely come to him. I had bad experiences with the computers I bought at both Best Buy and Staples. I have taken my computer to Dwight a few times now he went above and beyond to not only remove viruses from my computer set up all the programs for me, but he took the time to explain all the programs to me and walked me through exactly how to use all the different features on my computer that I wasn't sure how to use. In mid-May my laptop computer, which I had purchased new just four months earlier, started acting up. It was in obvious need of repair as I suspected it was a virus, and at the time I didn't have the expertise to stick-handle the necessary repairs. I called around to a few shops on the North Shore, panicked as I was to write an online exam the next morning. I contacted Concept Computers where Dwight offered same-day assistance. I hurriedly brought my computer to the do l shop where Dwight said he thought it was the hard drive. I insisted it was a virus as, from what I researched online, the computer was acting like it was infected. Dwight proceeded to begin taking the deets l screws out of the bottom plate, as he wanted to look at the hard drive. I again pressured him to diagnosing the brain first before taking my computer apart. He persisted. Dwight continued to undress my computer as we discussed payment. He said he would "scrub" my computer and install a fresh Windows 10 o/s for $190. I responded with a typical, "Holy Crow, that's expensive!". I then asked if that price was inclusive of tax, to which Dwight responded"no", taxes are extra. I indicated to Dwight that, due to a number of health concerns, I hadn't been working for a number of months and didn't have a lot of money to soothe l spend on the competition l computer, especially given I had only recently purchased it new. Dwight offered that if I paid in cash, it would be $190. I agreed and set off to do a quick shop across the street at the Save-On-Foods. No sooner that I began my perusal of the produce section did I receive a call from Dwight. His call was to let me know that my hard drive was junk; it was small, lacking power, and I could really benefit from an upgraded hard drive. He said it would cost ~$100. I responded telling Dwight that I'm not a gamer, I don't write code, and that my use of the computer is to write letters, research online, and for general light entertainment. No hard drive changes were made. I returned home from my brief grocery shop, and just as I pulled into the underground my phone rang again. It was Dwight advising that my computer was ready to be picked up. I turned around and made my way to the shop. When I was sat in front of my computer, the first thing I noticed was on the taskbar "Concept Computers" and the business number was embossed into it. It didn't make sense to me then as I was completely daft when it came to computers, but what was installed on my computer was a bootleg copy of Dwight's Windows 10. Further, his Windows 10 was an upgrade from Windows 7 - I know this because his family's file folders (empty) were included in the uploaded program! His computer has Intel processors, which I know because I saw the folders! Dwight then said that my Norton antivirus software was junk and that I really needed to get Emsisoft, which he guaranteed would protect me from malware. He actually said, "you will never have an issue with virus' or malware with this on your machine.". I reiterated that I didn't have a lot of money to spend on this computer, but Dwight persisted. I asked how much and Dwight responded, "I charge my clients $110 for the software, but I'll do it for you for $60, cash.". I reluctantly agreed and the software was installed. Four days later my computer crashed. It was broken. A virus or malware or whatever it was dismantled the Emsisoft software they Dwight, and the Emsisoft website itself, guaranteed would stand up to the toughest of viral intruders. I was kicked out and locked out of my computer. Administrative rights removed, passwords gone, and, after an attempt to recover logs to send to Emsisoft, as per their request in order to assist me, the boot and image files were corrupted. Turning the computer on would only produce the hp symbol and a spinning wheel of white dots. I called Emsisoft, "you're on your own". I called hp, "that's a software issue, you're on your own". I then called Dwight for assistance. I dropped my computer off and ran for an important meeting. On my way back into town I called Dwight to see what the damage was. Dwight told me that the reason my computer died was because "[I] was a busy boy watching all that porn". I'm not embarrassed by the fact I watch porn. I in fact watch a lot of it. But I questioned how that would cause my computer to die within four days. Dwight's response took me back to my childhood being brought up Mormon as he said, "well, if you hang out on the dark side of the web you're going to have issues". Give me a break I relayed this information to Emsisoft and they responded (with a chuckle), "there is no way". I asked for more info. They said that there is no way that any virus picked up from a porn site would take down their software. I'll believe the software on this one. But back to the instant matter, my computer was dead. Purchased an Asus computer in June 2015 and my after sales service was unusually confrontational and ended with me contacting Asus myself only to find that my warranty had expired in Jan 2015. I thought I had purchased a new product but now have serious doubts. When asked to explain the owner became hostile and ordered me from the store. My advice is stay clear. read more

Pricnig was about average, but the service was outstanding.
