I went simple and chose a beef and a chicken. Jasmine was friendly and told me varieties can change but that she likes to present several options. The specimens are kept warm under a heat lamp so it's ready to be consumed with no wait. I would call them medium sized, but at $4 ea a fair value. The shell seemed mostly flour, but tasty and crispy when I ate mine hours later. Both fillings were good. The chicken one was shredded white meat that was mildly seasoned. The beef was a bit different, it seemed to be tiny cubes of tender steak in a spicy sloppy joe'esque sauce. I'd get either again! There are choices of sauce too, but I made my own fresh salsa. I hope farmers market patrons come down this aisle and give them a try. I still see people lined up for a mediocre at best empanada truck not far from here....Jasomines nadas are much better!

Each empanada was absolutely incredible!!! it is so hard to decide my favorite. The first one I ate (kids have shellfish allergies) was the Rasta Pasta, oh my, oh my , OH MY!! Please do not change the recipe! Absolutely delicious/perfect!! Did I mention, OH MY!! After basking with my tastebuds on the Rasta Pasta empanada, i returned to the sampling table and tried the Jerk Chicken empanada. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!! Gave my son a hug for stumbling on a GOLDMINE All the other empanadas AWESOME!!! Working on how to bring these culinary delights to family down south,so we can share the wealth.

In a random parking lot in the middle of south jersey, I found the best empanadas on the planet!!! Food so good that I travel and hour each way, drop $100 each time, and am always extremely pleased. The owner isn't just a great guy but he's a mad genius. Things that I would've never thought to put in an empanada, he Severus Snapes it together and I've yet to have a bad one. Some examples: Chicken alfredo, Nashville hot chicken, roasted veggie, Philly cheesesteak, mac and cheese, Dubai chocolate, and Fruity Pebbles are just a few. So pack your pepper spray, and your narcan and prepare yourself for a taste sensation

Immediately when you walk in, it's clean, it's spacious, it has plenty of seating. You have plenty of space with your dishes when you go to sit down. You can look out the window and enjoy your lunch. The food... my God the food. I can't wait to come back here again. I will say they give you enough to last you to the next lunch day lol. But I will be coming back with updates when I try more things here. I got the steak platter and all the ingredients are so fresh, it's so well-made. Nothing tastes old, the flavors are amazing. I really have nothing bad to say. I will say the only hiccup is the workers don't really speak English, however, they do provide you with the phone so they can translate what you're saying, which is great. I waited an appropriate amount of time for dish like this and will be telling everyone I run into about this place. It's peaceful, the music is calming. You're not overly loud like a lot of these restaurants. It's clean, and the food is great! I found my new lunch spot. Update: went back the next day with my leftovers from my previous visit. Decided to try the beef empanada with the sauce that I missed the first day. Some kind of cilantro not spicy sauce. Also got the tres leches. Hands-down the best tres leches I've ever had in my life. And when I tell you that sauce puts the empanada over the edge. That's exactly what it needed. I will be coming here all the time!

I like that the menu is on a tablet and you can choose English if you don't speak Spanish. The waitress was very helpful. And at one point the owner came over to speak to us about our food. There was a little mixup with one dish but she fixed the error. As a perk if you leave a review you get a shot. So one of our companions left a review right then and the whole table got shots! It was great. I would definitely recommend this lovely place. I gave it 4/5 stars ONLY because it's street parking and parking is hard.

I had ordered these previously and each one of those meals could feed at least two people. What I received instead were three mini styrofoam lunch boxes that could barely feed a child each. when I called to ask what happened, the worker was extremely rude and condescending. To the point of saying the back end cooks set the prices for the food. What? It's not the restaurant management? Why would they function like this? She was clearly lying. They could have had a great, loyal client, but instead their rudeness has kept me off of their restaurant. Never again will I order from them. By the way, food is just ok. If you're going to be expensive and rude, your food better be top notch.

Well, I am here to tell you to stop in and eat everything off the menu, because it is AMAZING! We have been here twice and both times were good, but breakfast was better. I ordered the Gallo Pinto, which is a Costa Rican dish that includes black beans mixed with rice, a meat, fried cheese, egg, sausage, sweet plantains and a tortilla. The rice alone is worth having, so definitely give this a try. It is a magnificent spread that can feed two or good for sharing with a hungry toddler like mine. Hubby had the Chifrijol (black beans, white rice, crunchy fried pork layered on top pico de gallo & avocado) which was JUST as tasty just a bit small on the portion compared to mine. But a bargain for the $10 price, so absolutely give it a try for the chicharron (pork rinds) alone! Now as far as the bakery goes, we ordered a slab (yes, a mean a slab) of their corn bread and it is the best thing I've tasted in a while. It is a combination of perfectly homemade mixed with hints of the motherland that really make it out of this world. Each additional bite made it more and more appetizing. Get this. My toddler also wanted pancakes which we got 3 kid portion pancakes WITH bacon for only $4! And for a Latin spot, they make amazing pancakes! I also have to add that the service here is great, the whole restaurant is sparking clean and so cute inside. You get warm bread as you wait for your meal. The coffee is phenomenal and comes in GIANT mug. I really can't say more except...come spend your money here....order grub hub from here...and let me know if you like it!
