For my main dish, I ordered the chicken salad. It was delicious. It had chicken, obviously, arugula, red cabbage, corn, couscous, and a few other ingredients all tossed in a very light dressing. The salad was quite filling but did not make me feel heavy after eating it. My meal was quite different than the heavier Mexican dishes I would typically find in the US. I found the dishes here more flavorful and lighter. Usually, after eating Mexican food in the US, I would need a nap. After eating at Communa Cantina, I had plenty of energy to walk around the CBD all afternoon. To wash it all down I had a glass of Prosecco. A nice crisp drink for a warm day.

Its a shame that all the tables are covered by a big paper sheet (were we meant to bring our own colouring pens for when our conversation drys up?) and some of the plates were plastic but this may be aimed at families with kids which are messy or something...??
