We chose to drop in Marine Layer Wines. The tasting room is located in a very nice area in beautiful downtown Healdsburg across Healdsburg square. Parking is accessible all around the street and Healdsburg square. The modern decor was beautiful and bright. There were plenty of tables and couches to accommodate all different size parties. The vibe was inviting and family friendly. There was a cozy fireplace in the front as well. We ordered a glass of Lyra Pinot Noir and a glass of Aries Chardonnay. My Pinot Noir was smooth while the wifey's Chardonnay was crisp and refreshing. The wine was great quality. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Marine Layer Wines. The staff was nice and helpful. We appreciated the family friendly environment. It was nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas, by relaxing with a nice glass of wine.

She also brought out a plate of locally crafted pastries for us to pair with our wine. The wine itself was very tasty and smooth, we bought a couple of bottles to share in Downtown Healdsburg afterwards so we could continue enjoying it. The winery itself is very beautiful and has a stunning view overlooking Dry Creek Valley. They had ambient live music with a tongue drum that added to the atmosphere. A mini version of the board for half the price would have been appreciated as an option. For the price I paid, it would have been nice if the $65 Elevated Salumi Plate had more cheese. Eat something before you get here and save money. Overall, a pleasant wine tasting experience in a lovely location!

It was delivered in such a snotty and condescending manner. We ended up going down the road and spent the afternoon at Twomey. We discovered our new favorite wine, and it wasn't Flowers. They lost 4 lifetime customers today all due to a snotty staff and a most unwelcoming vibe. I'd suggest you open up some slots for walk ups who may just want to order a bottle of your wine and enjoy it in the sunshine. It's too late to win us back...because now we'll always think of your brand as snobby and arrogant. And, who needs to be made to feel that way when there are so many other choices.

We stopped in unannounced and were greeted warmly. Taylor was such a pleasure and she remembered my daughter & I from 2 years ago when she helped with our tasting. Not very often does a winery connect with visitors at that level. Says a lot about the culture here. Grabbed a couple glasses of champagne and walked the grounds to kill some time before our lunch reservation. Probably my favorite winery in the area. They are having a social hour on the terrace 3:15 to 5 Thursday thru Monday through the month of May. $10 a person waived if a glass of wine is purchased. Also small bites for purchase. Turns out Christopher Creek closes at 5 on Tuesdays BUT one of the employees was still there and told us to sit anywhere and he gave us a tasting anyway. We did the standard tasting and everything was so good. We all loved the viognier and ended up buying 2 bottles. I also liked the Chardonnay and enjoyed the Pinot noir as well. The setting is stunning. There's an Airbnb you can rent on site with a pool, pizza oven, and grill. Next step for the tasting was a white and after that two Pinots. We thought all were delicious however our preference was for the Love wine and the Rose. If you are in the neighborhood and enjoy sparkling wines these two are delicious! The vineyard itself is beautiful and relaxing. I can't…read moreremember what the article was and I've been trying to locate it again, but of all the 5 places the article named, I was pleasantly surprised to see that a spot in Healdsburg made the list. Being a member at another place in the area, Healdsburg was a familiar place to me. I came across the article at the perfect time as my husband and I were making a day trip to pick up my shipment. We live in Sacramento to Healdsburg is only a two hour drive away. I was beyond happy to see that we're wasn't a wait when we arrived. They are tons of cute velvet couches in all different colors and the busking itself is very tall with huge ceiling and really amazing decorations. We received excellent service and I was blown away at how amazing their Pinot Noir selection was. Only $35 for 5 pours! I felt so relaxed and not at all rushed. Some live music was getting ready to start when we left and I was sad we couldn't stay for that but now I know for next time. This was such a beautiful wine and music lounge and i'm very excited to visit again.
