It's getting harder and harder to find talented, reliable service people with ethics. Over the years, I found "Mike's Heating and AC" to be a great service provider, so when I needed a plumber I could count on, Dave at Mike's Heating and AC recommended Jeff at Comstock Plumbing. I am so glad he did so. I now have two service technicians/companies I can and will, highly recommend. Both definitely deserve referrals and my repeat business. Pat - Fullerton, CA read more

I called comstock plumbing this morning for my main pibeing clogged. They arrived within an hour and they are working on it now. They brought their own shoe cover, which I thought it was very nice of them. Their work ethic is very professional and price is very reasonable. They know exactly what they are doing. I was recommended by one of my neighbors on Nextdoor.com. I highly recommend them. read more

They are the ones I always recommend to folks without hesitation. They're honest, transparent, and they get the job done.

Jeff made time for our leaky kitchen sink and repaired it with a new part in a professional manner. Thank you.

Had an issue with my dishwasher. Called me back within the hour, and came a few hours later. Diagnosed and fixed the issue no problem. Was very nice, and price was reasonable. read more

My mom has been using Comstock Plumbing for many years now. I had a recent issue and asked her who I should call. She didn't even hesitate to say Jeff and Brian at Comstock. I called them and they came over and helped fix the sink promptly. I'm very grateful they were able to come out during these times, while exercising social distancing measures and getting the job done right! Appreciate your hard work and will know who to call next time! :) read more

I called Jeff in an Emergency, for a leak that was damaging our wooden floors. He promised to come out late evening, and true to his word, he came at 6:00 pm He and his assistant quickly diagnosed the issue and solved my problem. His pricing was extremely reasonable, and his expertise was very evident from his ability to discern the problem. I highly recommend him for any plumbing issues, and hopefully they will be few and far in between!! read more

Best plumber ever! Comstock Plumbing is a family-owned business and Jeff is carrying on his family's tradition of excellent service and prices. I've used Comstock 3 times now over the past 18 months and every time it's been a pleasure. How often can you say that about a plumber? He arrives on time (or calls to let you know if he's running behind), he really knows his stuff (he was the only plumber who was able to fix my shower), and his prices are reasonable. Put Comstock in your contacts right now and call Jeff the next time you need quality work at a fair price, and want to support a LOCAL family business. read more

I had a great experience with Jeff over at Comstock Plumbing. My husband and I called other plumbers in the area, including Chris Rogers Plumbing that flaked on us yesterday for a leak that we had. Comstock Plumbing said that they couldn't come yesterday because they were too busy but offered to come today. Great! I'd rather have a business be upfront and honest about their schedule rather than saying they would call and could probably come by and then disappear. Jeff came over and fixed the problem. He also spotted another leak which he fixed free of charge as well as putting our nozzle back on our bathtub spout that my husband had taken off. It was a pain free experience and I would definitely recommend them as well as use them again for our future plumbing needs. Thank you Jeff!!! read more

I heard of this company from a family friend of my mother in law. This family friend deals with a lot of contractors and it seems that she would know what she is talking about. This company seems to be a family company. I've had Frank come over to clear some pipes and make some repairs and I was very happy with the speed, work, and prices. Another employee, Greg was just as qualified when he came over to install a whole house filter. Greg put in a lot of time working under the crawl space to make sure the job was done right and satisfactory. This is the right plumbing company with very fair prices. I am glad we have a plumber that we can trust. read more

Plumbers are easy to find but hard to know if they are honest or car salesmen. Since I know nothing about plumbing and even less about cars I am left to trust their assessment of my problems. It is always nice to go with someone you know or have had a working experience with. I had plumbers who were reasonable and did great work and those who were just there to patch up problems or map out more problems. Comstock has been nothing short of professional and honest. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they take pride in their work. I am so please that I found them and they will be my go to plumbers for as long as I am in this house. They were prompt, clean and professional. I highly recommend them for your plumbing work. read more

We have owned into our house since 2002. In the first 6 years we tried a few plumbers. You know them all from their radio ads. They promised a lot but they did not delivered. They all seemed to up sell with every visit. It was like talking to a salesman not plumber. But then we meet Jeff. All of that changed. He lives up to his promises. Jeff does what needs to be done and done right. That is it. No up selling. Just honest, friendly and fair prices. I have referred Jeff to at least 10 friends and all of them have thanked me for the referral. So I believed it was time share my experiences with Jeff to Yelp. read more

We got the name of Comstock Plumbing as a referral from the Heating & A/C company we use regularly. We had Jeff from Comstock Plumbing replace our water heater some time back and recently called him for some other plumbing work. He is fast, courteous, neat and clean and professional and his prices are extremely reasonable. A neighbor recently had a "big name" plumbing company do a job that cost a lot of money - Jeff's quote for the same job was about two-thirds less. That gives you a good idea of the difference. We won't use any other plumbing company and highly recommend Jeff. Dave & Sandie Anaheim, CA read more

These guys are great! They were able to schedule me in quickly, even though it's the holidays. They showed up on time, clean and masks on. I had a difficult job for them. Finally a reputable plumber! I called Jeff and told him we had a leak and they were at our home within 10 minutes to investigate where the leak was coming from. We've been through several plumbers in the past 2 years due poor workmanship by the builder and multiple unqualified people claiming to have experience in plumbing. I can not say enough nice things about Jeff and Charles. They located the leak, had all the replacement parts on their truck (no need to go to Lowe's for parts like all the others), and 1.5 hours from my call, the work was done, leak was gone and the best part was their fair and honest rates. I have already shared his business card with my next door neighbor and will highly recommend them to anyone needing a licensed, honest, experienced and fair priced plumber. read more

I can't give Comstock a high enough review. It is a family owned company and Jeff is the third generation. My family has been using Comstock for over 30 years. I have an old house with a lot of plumbing issues, so we are frequent callers. Jeff is the best. He always comes within a reasonable time frame. He does awesome work and for a competitive price. I will never use anyone else. read more

Jeff and Brian are true professionals in every sense of the word! I should have written this sooner because it happened months before the pandemic. I had used Comstock for small repairs so when I needed my dishwasher, sink and refrigerator re-installed after a renovation, I called Jeff. Several months after the job the dishwasher began leaking. A friend recommended Bastanchury Plumbing so I called them. Tony came and when he pulled the bottom panel off he showed me that the panel had been attached with a pointed wood screw and it poked a hole in something plastic that water flowed through and it was leaking and could not be fixed or replaced. He said he knew Jeff and I should call him and he should make it right. Jeff begrudgingly came with his partner. At first he blamed me for not having the correct screw. I told him I would have gone to Home Depot to get it if he had told me but it was his job to use the correct parts. He was angry but asked me what I thought would be the right thing to do. I asked him to tell me. He said he would pay two thirds and I would pay one third of the replacement dishwasher. I was to call him and he would bring the money. He sarcastically said "don't go buy the most expensive one!" I loved my Maytag dishwasher which still worked perfectly, even though it was a few years old. I did a lot of research and finally settled for a Kitchen Aid. (not the top of the line). Weeks went by and I did't hear from him, so I left a message that I would split it 50/50. I have never heard from him. He also dropped the top, right corner of my sink when installing and it has rusted through. I showed it to him when he was here and he sneered "I suppose you want me to replace that to." He was so nasty, I just said no. Jeff, I think I have waited long enough for you to follow through on your promise. read more

My husband was referred to Comstock Plumbing from a friend. Our sink was broken in the kitchen and needed to be replaced. He actually fit us in pretty quickly, which was nice. He installed the new faucet pretty quickly as well. After turning on the water, and leaving our house, I realized that our hot water was not working any longer. It worked fine with the old faucet. So my husband called, and text for weeks to get him back out to complete the job he started, since we paid him for his services. We don't have a dishwasher and have to wash everything by hand, so without hot water, we cannot clean or disinfect any of our dishes. My husband hasn't gotten a return text or phone call back after several attempts. We have been boiling water to soak dishes in, and it's become quite a nuisance! It's impossible to keep dishes clean now without hot water. My husband had to call another plumber to complete the job that was not completed by Comstock Plumbing. Terrible customer service!!! Do yourself a favor, and call a different plumber! This one sucks!! read more

We are in need of a family plumber in Fullerton as ours retired a few years ago. When I saw a plumber visiting across the street about a year ago I walked over and got the contact name. Jeff seemed very nice and competent. I subsequently asked my neighbors and they said Comstock is the best So I felt confident that we had someone to call the next time a problem arose. Recently our HOA sent out a write up within our newsletter about problems with pinhole leaks in our complex. Repiping is probably the solution. I looked at Comstock's reviews which are excellent and their website, which says they do re piping and called about three weeks ago to set up an appointment. I had a very nice exchange with Lily. We set up an appointment for the following Monday and I asked her if I could fax her the write up from the news letter for background. She gave me her fax number and I sent it over. When Monday came I received a voice message that Jeff would not be able to make it after all, no reason was given, and that she hadn't received my fax, would I please send it and call her. She said they would review it and we would go from there. I resent it and left a message that I had and asked for a call back. I didn't hear back . A few days later, I discovered water under one of my cabinets and left a voicemail asking for a return call.. I didn't provide details but naturally thought I could do that when she called me back. There was no return call. In fact I've never heard from this company since the voicemail cancelling the initial appointment. We did call another plumber about the water leak. It turned out to be our main drain upstairs to downstairs. They came out right away, diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it, thank heavens. It was quite a job. Re piping is still in our future . Oh well, can't figure it all out. Maybe there was a family problem and they weren't able to return their calls. Maybe she thought the subsequent call was about the re piping, wasn't interested in t he job and just didn't return my call. I'll never know but my experience is inconsistent with the other reviews and my neighbor's high praise. read more

Our washing machine was backing up and we gave Comstock Plumbing a call. They came out in less than a half an hour and cleared everything up right away. I was referred to Comstock by another plumber who had a few too many projects on his calendar. I called Jeff and left a message. He called me right back within minutes. I had another question about the model of water heater I wanted. Again, within minutes he calls me back and says he can get what I want and be there tomorrow. He was running a bit late and called to say he was behind but on his way. I get it, I know how that goes. I just appreciated the fact that he called to let me know he was on his way. He and his partner Brian knocked out the job in about an hour. You definitely could see these guys knew what they were doing and had probably done it a thousand times before. Price was reasonable and on par with other quotes. Will definitely call these guys again if I have any other plumbing problems. read more

#Fullerton - I almost don't want to give such a raving review because I want to keep Comstock to myself but that would be selfish and I just can't be that way. After being in the real estate business for 16 years I have always searched for a reasonable priced licensed plumbing company and I am happy to say that I finally found Comstock. I gave them a plumbing repair list for our inspection and Jeff came out quickly, gave me a quote, I got it approved and it was all done with 2-3 days. I was very happy with the cost and service. read more

What an honest family business! Jeff came out on a holiday, late in the evening after working late all weekend long. What a great local business. He and his wife were so kind to take on our water heater installation job on the same day (without an extra charge). Their prices are super reasonable, in this economy every penny counts! Comstock was recommended to us by one of their past customers, she had very good things to say about this family business. Today's emergency helped us find a plumber we will use again and again for other issues. Thank you Comstock! read more

I read the reviews here on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Jeff and John arrived 2 hours later and gave me a very fair and competitive bid on doing a complete repipe in my home with pex rather than copper. They're just now completing the job. Pat W. What can I say. I had a delightful time with Charles today while he was installing my new kitchen sink faucet. He was very polite n professional. He did a wonderful job and went out of his way to make sure everything was working great. He even went to Home Depot to get s soap dispenser for my sink. He also took the time to recaulk around my sink which was deteriorating. I truly appreciated his workmanship and attitude. I would highly recommend this company and Charles and will call them again if I ever have any plumbing problems. Nice job Charles. Thanks read more
