CKK Computers was referred to me by two high ranking, important city of Glendale employees. I've…read moreknown both employees a long-enough time to have great respect for their insights/judgments. Both are highly responsibly, well thought of people in the city of Glendale. So when they referred me to CKK Computers (not far from city headquarters) this was the first call I made. Got a chance to speak to Chris, who invited me down later that afternoon (yesterday). (I was told to call first because CKK does a lot of in house consultations. Which was/is true because Chris was in a consultation when I arrived. Then again in the aft when I returned at 3 pm. (to make a purchase of a Lenovo that Chris recommended.) They have tons of in-house product, i.e. laptops, desktops, refurbished, refreshed items that are top shelf. Certainly this Lenovo is, and I might well return to purchase a DELL "gaming" laptop that Chris highly recommended (for the graphics alone which Chris described). But for the holiday I just needed a cheap, functioning laptop to finish a writing project - and Chris gave me a great deal on this Lenovo. (our city uses Lenovo, so it's also one of my favorite brands) Just wanted to also direct you to CKK computers, make CKKcomputers.com the first call/stop you make - you'll be glad you did. I was told CKK were great consultants, and sure enough consultations were going on all day. Thanks to CKK Computers for solving an important project I'm near completing. Will be back for more! Best regards @ CKK Computers. jfk

The highlight of my week was meeting Jeffrey and getting my laptop repaired. He did such a…read morefantastic job and quickly, at an incredibly fair price. I have read the one star reviews (which are very few compared to his glowing reviews, btw) and I think some people just have a sense of entitlement to how they think customer service or presentation should be in places where they don't set the rules. They are probably written by the same people that question seating policies in restaurants that have been in business since before they were born. Bottom line is, Jeffrey knows his stuff and he is a character. When you are an expert in something, why waste time explaining your decades of knowledge to someone when you can just cut the fat? (He does explain, btw, but I think most people can't keep up with his knowledge) He asks direct questions because he is trying to quickly and concisely determine what is NOT the issue so he can better diagnose the solution. I wish more people talked like he does. And to anyone that criticized his office, you have probably never been in a workshop before. No frills, no BS, no reason to fluff it up just to make you feel something. It's engineering. I looked at other places nearby with flashy photographs of celebrities next to them and awards on the walls and the prices they charged... Most likely you would be charged like a celebrity and put on a wait list and asked to return later in the week, if at all. I'd much rather go to the genius in his workshop who isn't concerned with such meaningless aesthetics any day. Thank you , Jeffrey - you saved the day and I can get back to work with my files and I saved thousands on what I thought I'd have to spend to get a new computer. I'd happily recommend everyone to Jeffrey for their computer repair needs.

If I could give David 10 stars, I would!…read more I gave him my little netbook last week because I was having problems booting up the computer. He took it apart and recovered all my files then spent the next 3 hours trying to fix it. At first, we thought it would be a virus but it was actually the hardware itself. First, he offered replaced the hard drive for me. (He had an extra one lying around and he quoted me a really good price.) That did not work so he replaced the RAM. That did not work either. The only thing left was the motherboard and the computer was overheating no matter how much compressed air he sprayed on it. After all that, he called to tell me that my dear little netbook was "totaled" and it would be cheaper for me to buy a new one than for him to keep replacing parts and racking up the labor. After all that, he said he would only charge me for the first hour of labor. Who does that these days?! No one! I am so thankful for his honesty and his efficiency. DO NOT go anywhere else for repairs! David is your go-to guy! P.S. He even gave me a website where I could resell the parts for cash. Awesome guy!
