My Apple MacBook Pro stopped working, it started up, but gave me the empty file icon ... might as well have been the finger! Apple Genius was kind, but came out with pictures and said "you have liquid damage." The best they could offer was selling me a new computer and responsibly recycling my laptop. Then I found Eric totally by accident ... his flier showed up in the mail advertising his services right when I was looking at replacements. I called, he picked it up that day and by the next morning gave me a full report. I found Eric to be personable, knowledgeable and reliable. It didn't hurt that he lived in Porter Ranch as well, and was at my door within minutes of me contacting him. My desktop computer was around 6 years old and had crashed and wouldn't boot again. He was able to fix it for me for a low price, save some critical files, clean out the extremely dirty insides of the computer, and recommend upgrades that sped up my computer at minimal cost. He replaced my old mechanical hard drive that had tons of bad sectors with a much faster SSD drive that sped up the computer like crazy, but he only charged a couple of hours of labor + cost of drive from Amazon. Geek4cheap is a professional, convenient, and fast service. I contacted Eric because I was having problems with two of my laptops. (1)Asus Laptop: The operating system was no longer functioning. It would no longer load and I kept getting different error messages. I thought this one was done for. (2)Dell Laptop: I had just recently bought this laptop. Unfortunately I spilled hot coffee all the over it: the screen, the TouchPad, the keyboard. Basically Eric took care of everything from the begining. He explained that if he could not fix them there would be no charge. He asked me to explain the problem beforehand and then gave me a price for each one. True to his word, I did not pay a dime more. He came and picked up both of the computers. He left me a form detailing exactly what was exchanged for each one(i.e. laptop charger). He did not charge me until he brought them back in working condition. One was brought within 24 hours. The other needed a part replaced. I was called informed and asked before anything was purchased. I received a tracking number for the part and received my laptop back on the day the part arrived. I tested each one before paying. He left me an invoice/receipt. What more can I say? He was easily accessible. He emailed and messaged me to update me on the progress of the repairs . He brought it back to my house at a time of my choosing and he was always on time. He clearly has his clients best interest in mind and knows what he is doing. It was also relatively cheap.
