Look, I'll keep this simple. They took care of my issues for cheaper and faster then I expected. I came in in August with a macbook with a bad hard drive and missing "p" and "[" keys. They quoted me an hour to diagnose it to make sure it was the hard drive, and said they'd credit the diagnosis hour toward whatever it would involve to fix it (redoing the software or installing a new hard drive) after they knew what the problem was for sure. They called me the next day and told me I was right: bad hard drive. I gave them the go ahead to replace it. What really surprised me was when I got my computer back: they went ahead and installed ilife on my machine, as well as some other stuff I was gonna install myself anyways. They actually thought ahead and hooked me up with stuff they knew I would need. Now that's customer service. My other nice surprise? They replaced the missing keys on there for free. Turns out they had a dead keyboard in back that they took the keys off of since it matched mine. :) Pretty awesome. read more

I wish i could give this place a negative rating...this is the poorest excuse for a repair shop in the history of the universe...they sold me a refurbished computer for $850 with a defective battery, and those greedy assholes wont fix it for free, even though the defective battery came with the computer. when i tell them that its messed up that they sold me a broken computer, they just and say that they dont check on the batteries when they refurbish computers. how could they sell computers to people without checking on the fucking battery to see if it works? how could they be so stupid, greedy, and un-caring of the customers? DONOT EVER GO TO THIS TERRIBLE REPAIR SHOP...THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER, SELL YOU DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS, AND STEAL YOUR MONEY. hate this place and the people that work there. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS. These guys are completely incompetent scammers. I brought in my computer and they quoted me an insane price and I had to fight a $49 b.s. diagnostic charge that I never agreed to in order to get back my own property. Later, my neighbor's elderly mom brought in her tower which happened to be a gaming tower. The zone-heads realized that she would never use the $500 graphics card in it because all she did was online Facebook games. They stripped her card out and even downgraded her ram. She of course would not notice and it didn't impact her experience but this is THEFT!!!! Just walk in that place and it looks like a junkyard. If you honestly feel comfortable leaving your computer with these scammers then you deserve to get ripped off. STAY AWAY read more

My power cord to my mac broke yesterday, I work at home on my laptop so I was desperate to get a new cord. I call Computer Zone, Chris answered and told me that they had cords at the Mission Street location. I went down and they checked out some cords and one of the used cords worked. The price was reasonable, but when I said that I may have a credit from 2013 for some replacement parts I did not need to use (they fixed that problem without the replacement). Even though the clerk could not find the receipt, he gave me the cord at no charge. I call that great customer service! This is a terrific local owned family business! read more

I can't wait to get back into the zone. I bought Madden 2002 last month and it worked great! They also gave me an exceptionally competitive quote to fix my Mac Book pro. Apple wanted to charge me $600 to just evaluate my monitor. The zone came in at a fraction of that. I'm very glad I went with a local business rather than shipping my lap top to who knows where. The turn around time was a matter of days compared to waiting weeks for the same service from Apple. Highly recommend popping in and getting a quote before going elsewhere. read more

I had issues with my laptop for a couple months and I brought it in to computer zone. In two days I came to pick it up and it ran so fast. Not only did they fix it, but they also gave me a 15 minute tutorial on how to prevent viruses and what to look out for. It has been 4 month and my computer is still clean as a whistle. Brought in my laptop that had viruses and got it back running faster than when I bought it new. All of it done within a days time. Impressed. About a week later I brought them my ipad that had a completely shattered/cracked screen and they got it back to me within 2 days like new. I brought my computer in here after it bugged out - they told me it would be $80 to check it out and if it needed any work after that they would let me know before doing anything. Luckily they were able to fix it w/ a clean-up and they called me later that day to have me pick it up. Smooth and easy service - they're a bit pricey if there is any big job needed. read more
