    I went to Geek Squad after taking the time to first phone their customer service line and confirm…read morethey offered the service I was looking for. I was informed they did, but when I got to their Red Deer location I was told that they would "absolutely not" help with my issue in the most arrogant and dismissive way possible. I understand that mix ups happen, but basic manners cost nothing, and nobody appreciates that kind of attitude. They don't seem to care about inconveniencing their customers, or even extending basic courtesy, so I won't be back.

Bought an rog ally didnt work off the bat and they wanted 50$ to work…read moreon it (700$ machine thats a month old) and it only ran windows 10 i can live with that sent it to acer got it fixed for free since i only used it twice. week after i get it back i tried to trade it in on a laptop and was offered 100 dollars value kept it of course and spent another 1300 on a laptop that would not update and the screen flickered on and off. took it back and apparently they didnt have a single laptop of the same spec that i needed for a 7k course i paid for and wanted me to spek nd more money for a less capable laptop or they could not help me. when i asked for my money back their manager scoffed and laughed saying good luck buying elsewhere and ill see you soon. im out OVER 8k because i could find a laptop in time and the used one i had to buy crashed. they want you money and nothing else ( 1 young man did and oustanding job helping customers) very poor managment if my truck hadnt broke down id drive to edmonton or calgary before coming close to this best buy. go anywhere else

    This guy is a theif and scammer. I had a brand new 55 inch Samsung smart tv and one week into…read moreowning it, it got a line up the middle. I called Samsung and they sent this guy to deal with the TV. He came to my house and took the TV. Called me back a few days later saying Samsung declined to fix it under warranty. I asked for a reference number or file/claim number so I could call and talk with Samsung because I disagree with them saying it was user error that caused the problem and he said he'd call me back with that information. He never did. I tried for days to get this guy in the phone with no luck. I finally got him to call me back by telling him I was taking my matter to higher resources for resolution and he's not going to come out looking very good for his bad business actions and lack of communication at which point he actually called me back and blamed me for his lack of communication and said he'd at least return my TV to me but then said some shady stuff like "but you do remember it was broken right? And I told him well not really broken, it has a small pixelated line in the middle too to bottom but otherwise it's fine and he didn't really accept that answer he just repeated that it was broken but he'd return it. I reminded him that I have pics of it from the day before when I sent the pics to Samsung and he sounded surprised by that and said he'd return it by the end of the week and that was the last time I was able to get him to answer communicate with me. Not returning my calls or emails, nothing. He basically came to my house and stole my TV. I don't even think he attempted to fix it under warranty for me at all. I will find out tho because I'm in the middle of handling this matter with Samsung directly and the Ombudsman because of the situation with Telus and how I agreed to a 2 yr plan for TV service but no longer have a tv because of this crooked thief "repair man" so it's not right that I agreed to the services and the Samsung TV was the bonus that made me decide to accept the 2 yr TV service agreement and it took almost 7 months of keeping on them about the status of the TV to receive it when it should have taken 6 weeks and then after almost 7 months of waiting then 1 week of owning the TV it gets a flaw and then a crooked tv thief comes and steals it claiming he's picking it up to fix under Samsung's warranty and that's basically the last I've seen or heard from this clown and now I'm supposed to be obligated to pay for 2 years for TV services that I can't even watch because this guy scammed me out of my TV? I don't think so. So I'm not sure how this situation will resolve yet but it's picking up momentum now and I hope this crook is exposed for what he really is and his bad Business practices and scamming hard working people out of their electronics by several different scandalous actions by the sounds of several reviews and complaints about a variety of scams this guy and his place are running. Michael Fedyna is a con man, a thief, a liar and a crook. I'm not stopping until this is made 100% right and you are held accountable for your crimes you're committing under the disguise of a repair man.
