The customer service team at this store is so incredibly poor, they couldn't even be bothered as to give him notice that his phone wouldn't be there the past TWO times they called him into the store stating it was there. Upon going today (at 12 when they stated he should come back in) they told him they had called me and notified him of the phone not being there- but that is a blatant LIE because I have not received any calls from the source in red deer, let alone any calls today. This is truly unacceptable, and once my husband is done with his phone shenanigans at this crap store I can guarantee we won't be coming back.

Their price was reasonable, and they seemed to know what they were talking about. I hadn't heard from them at the 8 day point, and as I was in the area I stopped by to check on the status of my computer. I was told that it was 'next to go on the bench'. As there were still a couple of days left, I didn't think much of it. At the 12 day mark, my husband called and left a voicemail asking for a status update. We heard nothing. After another day and a half, and two more unreturned voicemails, my husband stopped by to find out what was going on. He was told it was 'on the bench' and that it would be another day or so. After another unreturned call, we began stopping into their store almost daily. Every time we were given some story about why it wasn't ready. Staff was out sick, their tech was away, etc. At the 23 day mark, I was particularly frustrated. We went in and asked about the status of my computer. We were told that it was 'on the bench' and in process. I expressed my displeasure at the length of time it was taking and the fact that they couldn't even be bothered to call us to be proactive and keep me updated. The young man who was lounging on the counter looked me in the face and said that there was nothing he could do about it. The next day I called and spoke with their manager. While he seemed genuinely concerned, he promised that he would call me back and he never did. Late that afternoon, we received the call that my laptop was ready for pick up. After paying for the service that took more than twice what they said in the beginning, we got the computer home and THERE WAS STILL A VIRUS ON IT! This business obviously does not care about their customers or their own reputation. DO NOT take your computer to them for repairs!

I should add he was not trying to sell me on anything as they do not carry computers in the store anymore. After I made my purchase from Cosco, he set everyting up for me and transferred my info from my old computer, cheaper than I was quoted a three different places. All done in a very timely manner, with a smile and genuine great customer service. He also told me that once I was sure everything was as it should be to bring my old computer in, where it would be wiped clean and sent for recycling. Wonderful service!!
