I was quite surprised when it would not boot afterwards. I spent two full days trouble-shooting to no avail. Frustrated, discouraged and embarrassed that I could not solve this technical mystery, I contacted HCC Technology in Yucaipa, explained my situation and delivered my PC to them for analysis and repair. I was met at the door by "Sal" who assured me that they would assess and diagnose my PC's symptoms; identify the root cause and then implement the correct solution. Sal called me in less than two days and told me the PC was repaired; up and running perfectly! He reviewed his diagnosis findings and corrective action taken (without hurting my feelings). This business is a family operation with each team member I met displaying a very high level of professionalism and technical expertise. The technical service was impeccable; the personal interaction was very friendly and personal. I could not be more pleased with their service to me. Cracked her laptop open ourselves and removed most of the screws from the battery to try and take it out, but there were two that we could not get out so we caved and took it in to the shop. The person at the front was able to remove them immediately and very easily, and walked us through all of the possible outcomes for the laptop. The laptop was fine when dried in-store for a few days, though the price for it to just sit there by a fan was higher than I would have liked. I also wish they had been a little more communicative, we had to call more than once just to get updates. Overall, they were knowledgeable and it got fixed, so I would return in the event of another mishap.

A bell went off in my head, like who ever heard of electronics coming out of Kentucky? I took my laptop into this location 3 times and each time it took weeks to get my laptop back and days to get a response on the status of my laptop. At first it took a month to replace an item and when I went to pick up my laptop they lost my charger, so they had to replace it. THEN I took it in for a similar issue and my laptop was returned to me weeks later, basically in the same condition. The last time I took in my laptop I told the owner not to fix it if the cost would be as much as purchasing a new laptop. They had it for another month... During this time I was told that parts had to be ordered. I finally had to demand them to return my laptop regardless of the condition. I took it somewhere else where it took them 10 minutes to tell me that my laptop had pretty much died and it would be best for me to get a new one. I will NEVER return to this business again.
