Then, it would be agonizingly slow to do any function. Guy picked up the beast and put in a state of the art hard drive, replacing the old one. When he returned the Dell in a day, it was so fast, it made me dizzy! I asked if there was a way to slow it down a tad because my brain was tuned to the old sluggish computer! List Files When I called the Computer Guy left a message and he got back to me with in 15 minutes.I called him about some files that did not transfer to my new computer. Feeling frustrated he took my old hard drive and found the files. He spent a few days working on it and was in contact with me to let me know about the progress. He did recover the files I needed off my 2013 iMac came to my house and helped me with installing on my new computer. His price was very reasonable. Especially since he came to the house I called around for prices with other companies. Just to come to the house was over 150 and not sure if they could fix it. Our son's gaming computer appeared to have lost all the data on the apps after a forced shutdown, so we called the Computer Guy and he advised us to have our son call him to explain what happened. He made no promises that he would be able to restore what was lost, but agreed to come over and take a look. My husband had detached the cables already, but Guy wanted to have our son walk him through what happened and so we reconnected everything-and the computer was restored! Obviously this wasn't anything the Computer Guy did, but he didn't make us feel stupid and also didn't charge us for the time he took coming over.
