He was a few minutes late, which wasn't a big deal at all, especially since he called and let us know he was running late. He set up my employer's new computer for her, and helped transfer all the old files and he installed all the programs we would need. He was also incredibly helpful the day after the install, when we were having trouble finding some programs. He had us log in to his online IT help account, and took care of our problems remotely. I handed my laptop off to him to be repaired (broken screen hinge) and he said he'd give me a quote within 2 days or so. I didn't know what to do the day my computer fizzled out because I was in the middle of my work day…read more& didn't know what was wrong or who to contact. Lucky for me, Google brought Steve's company up and because he had such a good rating, I gave him a call. Steve thought the new motherboard would take a week to order/arrive but it was here in 4 days & he came over the day he got it and got my PC back up and running! His labor was $180 (2 hours/2 trips to my house) & the motherboard was $100. That was a small price to pay for him to be able to save all the work, photos, music, movies I had on my hard drive! If you ever think your computer has burned out & died, call Steve before buying a new one and starting everything (re-installing everything & re-doing tons of work) over.

This is my second time with this business. Guess, second time shame on me…read more His follow thru the first time around was not impressive. I bought a piece I didn't need and he dropped the ball on helping me find a receiver for my system. He was over 1/2 hour late to our appointment this past weekend (Saturday morn). I paid him the full $40 (his per hour rate) for 1/2 hour appointment. Our antennae didn't seem to be pulling signal. He removed the DVD player from the converter box and the signal came thru. It lasted for the remainder (5 min) our appointment, then died when he left, and no signal for remainder of Saturday. I texted and called prior to his closing hours. I received a text 4 hours later he would be contacting me Sunday morning Sunday came and went. 4:30 Sunday afternoon I called and left a voice mail. Still waiting for contact. Since then I've fixed the issue--connected the antennae directly to the TV, which should have been done from the get go. You are much smarter than this guy and deserving of good customer service, take my word for it. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

He also recommended replacing several current apps with ones that would do a more thorough job in my system. Throughout our appointment he explained in terms I could understand exactly what he was doing, but left all decisions to me. The work was completed remotely at an incredibly reasonable price. In fact, I wanted to pay him more and he refused. I highly recommend his work.
