I finally decided to breakup with my cell provider after several years of grueling & unreliable…read moreservice. Verizon was recommended by a handful of friends that said they were very pleased with their service. A new location was erected nearby my work so I decided to head over and see what options they had. The store is located on the first floor of a two story building in a small shopping center on the corner of MacArthur & Bristol. When I stepped inside, it looked clean modern and well appointed with accessory displays throughout. The associate was working with someone so I waited for about 10min or so. When she came over she apologized for the wait and I began to discuss cell phone plans. She offered some great plans which included internet as well! So not only was I breaking up with AT&T, I was breaking up with Spectrum, too! They offered a sweet discount on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, so I went with that. About 20min later, I had a shiny new iPhone and sparkling new cell service & internet to boot. I'm still working out some of the kinks of having new service on a new phone but all of that is par for the course. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience and I'm hoping it will the start of a long & happy relationship.

I explained that we needed to get the new phone activated and so we could return the other one. He began looking into the account and said this can't we returned (referring to the new case cover I had also brought in) in which I replied I am not here to return any accessories I'm here to activate this new phone so I can mail in the old one back. He then proceeds to say oh there's an activation fee to do that if you're not in the account. Never even cared to ask for my mom's ID to even check himself. I could tell from his vibe he did not want to help us so we left another location on harbor st. At that other location they were very welcoming and the associate there was very helpful in confirming that mom was associated with the account and no need to pay for an activation fee. All in all Chris was very Rude!! Do not got to this location on South Bristol st.

It wasn't complicated. They did everything quickly, professionally, and with no hassle. Reasonable price, too.

I accepted one of them, and I also want to say that I genuinely apologized for my part in how things escalated. Just one business day later, Jon-Michael from Technical Support contacted me and scheduled a new installation date. Mike (hands down their best technician) came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and set up a new system that has been working flawlessly ever since. I can't say enough good things about Mike's expertise and professionalism. Logan also helped get the system configured and running smoothly from the virtual support side. I am now more than happy with Cityside Fiber -- both as an internet provider and as a company overall. If you're having any issues with Cityside Fiber, my strong advice is to escalate to one of the people mentioned here. Strider, Jon-Michael, Mike, and Logan are all true professionals who will do the right thing for you.

I'm paying $91 a month for 1GB and Oscar said that was pretty expensive. He asked me if he could bundle a streaming service to lower it to $66.35 a month and then said I could cancel the TV after a month and then the internet cost would drop to $41 a month. Quite a savings and I appreciate Oscar pointing this out. I went with that deal and thanks again for the great service and price cut, Oscar!

Paragon Cable was a major US cable television provider in the 1980s and 1990s, notably operating in areas like Portland, Oregon, and Texas, and of course in SoCal too before being acquired by Time Warner Cable, TW finalized the deal for all its assets by 1999. Yes I have been a loyal customer since I moved to SoCal. Times Warner was amazing, Yelp didn't exist then or I would have rated TW 6 stars. I'm glad I never allowed autopay or they would have double charged like they did to a few reviewers above. Every month they jacked up the bill to now over $250 a month. They super charged people when they decided to bundle 500 channels, who needs 500, I worked 2 jobs I feel lucky if I made the time to watch the news every night plus just 1 news show Foxnews, imagine that they feel comfortable ripping off people n completely disregard customer loyalty. TMobile offered me a ridiculously cheap package but my husband is against changing bc we are dealing w his cancer which drained me of all energy so we just put up w the price gouging. We agreed a year ago to the streaming service called Xumo so I got a discount initially during the introduction of this new service, well I can tell you the stress I went through, it crashed for no reason time and time again leaving us w zero service but it gave us free Netflix which caters to the woke crowd, I escaped communism n I have no use for movies bashing freedom n promoting socialism, their radical agenda. Xumo has been decent lately but what is not acceptable is their jacking up the price. So no I don't recommend this company unless you have relatives in Mexico and Canada where all calls are unlimited n free in their bundled price. So indirectly we are supporting illegal immigration and paying through our nose for all the folks calling Mexico and Canada.

A few months ago our Internet speed went down from 100Mbps to 3Mbps. Yes, three. It took them about 3 weeks to get it fixed. In the process I have been in contact with mediocre customer service reps that are trained to copy/paste boiler plate responses. It doesn't matter whether they've given you an answer or ETA. They'd always ask, "Is there anything else that I can help you with?" so they can end it asap. This time around I had to move my service to a different address. The first rep that I talked to set up the install schedule. A day later I still didn't get any sort of confirmation. I contacted them again. Turns out that the schedule wasn't made at all. So I had to make another request. The rep that I chatted with this time was extremely slow and couldn't get a grip of the issue and task to be done. In the end, the install was scheduled. But wait... I ain't falling for this again. I immediately contacted them again to see if there was an install scheduled. Yes, there was, except that it was scheduled to be done at my OLD ADDRESS!! How can they mix this up?? Come on.. transfer of service to a new address that you were aware that was not in your system yet. Need any more clues on where to send the technician to?
