We were both moving out of the office on that day to separate offices and needed to have our phones transferred to our new offices. I hired KC Communications to handle all of my phone and data wiring and the other doctor just called the phone company directly to handle his phones. We had made arrangements for the phone company to switch our phones over at the end of the day so we wouldn't miss any of our patient's calls. At 10 AM, the phone company decided they didn't want to wait until the end of the day and switched them over early. Both of us were completely cut off from our phones and none of our patient's could reach us. In a panic the other doctor called the phone company and I called KC Communications. Within 5 minutes I had all of my calls being forwarded to my cell phone while the other doctor sat on the phone, screaming at the phone company for the next 45 minutes. At the end of the day, the phone company showed up to both of our offices and had difficulties getting our phones and data connected correctly.
