I was referred to Comprehensive Physical Therapy by my PCP due to left Rotator Cuff shoulder pain. I scheduled an appointment and met with Andrea. I explained to her what I thought happened and then we started on Therapy. Andrea is very knowledgeable and started me on a series of exercises to correct my left shoulder. She added new exercises each week and I could tell they were working. After about 6 weeks my left shoulder was feeling much better. I could sleep at night with no pain and my range of motion had definitely improved. I no longer will be going onsite for physical therapy with Andrea, but will continue my exercises at home to continue strengthening my left shoulder. I have been going to this location in Henderson off and on throughout the three years from being a cash payment, charging for copies of .60 cent each, to going through my insurance - a slow process, then back to cash payment to paying .60 cent per page if not able to be seen sooner through insurance. Now, if you come back to them for therapy for same body part(s) w/o being charged the whole amount, like new patient/client, if it's up to over 1 month to 3 months, you will be charged higher cost all over again, till it drops down for follow up scheduling within timeframe. I can't see where this facility administration side seems to be all about money and not all about patient care if the admin or corp office thinks about losing their money to get their service and then have to pay more out of pocket just for copies, if is cash payment. They won't even take miitary/vet discount to help me out where we sacrificed our freedom for you. I don't know how people make it this world if the ones who really needs care and not about greed. That's where sometimes living in NV is you pay first or no service to not work with people having different situations going on in their life. From what I see from this facility, it doesn't seem to be about patients/clients, if you think about it. I know things had increased but when you're a return patient a few times, you'd think they give you benefit to help you but they don't and they've had my past records as their client. If anyone disagrees here, that's too bad, because that's what I see is going on there unless someone a person is blind sighted by the way it's operated that if you lived in my shoe, you'd maturely understand and not dispute back on reviews of another review just because you didn't go through what I went through. read more

On February 2, 2021, I had my first total knee replacement at age 73. My Doctor does not recommend "home visits" for physical therapy because he believes his patients do better when they have to physically go to a facility. I chose Comprehensive Therapy Center on Jeffreys St. because of location and I am so glad I did. Andrea did a wonderful job of explaining just what exercises I needed to do and HOW to do them in order to achieve my goal. I started therapy less than a week after surgery (needed a walker for my 1st visit) and 11 weeks later I am walking, sitting, sleeping, standing and able to navigate stairs without pain. Appointments were easy to make and the facility is following all COVID related requirements. While training for a half marathon I started experiencing knee pain that kept me from doing what I love. MRI showed that I re-tore cartilage that I'd injured in the past. The first orthopedic surgeon I consulted with jumped straight to... you guessed it... SURGERY. It would have been a couple of weeks off my feet, and months away from running. My second opinion surgeon took a more conservative approach and referred me to CTC. I was assigned to Emilia for my therapy, and she was fantastic from start to finish. She was so patient and thorough, and a fantastic listener. She took time to explain the physiology and the reasoning behind the treatment in ways that were easy to understand. And I never waited long to see her. The rest of the staff were helpful too! By the time my physical therapy came to an end, I really felt like I'd made new friends because everyone was just so cool there. As far as my knee...PT is the reason I was able to stay in the game. Emilia gave me great exercises, stretches and tips on how to get and keep myself in the best shape possible to meet and exceed my physical goals. I received physical therapy for my sciatic nerve and hip. I can highly recommend Andrea, who not only strengthened the hip and sciatic nerve, but showed me what to do if the pain recurred down the road. Andrea is amazing and I highly recommend her. The first thing they do when you get there (after your evaluation) is to lie down on a huge, steam-heated pad for 15 minutes. The physical therapists usually have more than one person they are working on, but that gives you the ability to work on the instructed workout in between them checking back in with you. I had severe tennis elbow. After suffering for several months, I was sent to a different PT office. After 5 weeks of Graston and dry needling, I had minimal improvement. So lucky to have found Henry at Comprehensive. I now have no pain in my day to day activities. Henry uses total hands on approach. I was treated at Comprehensive Physical Therapy by Emilia K-S in June-Aug of 2018. I must say that my experience at this location was excellent and stellar to say the least. I was very grateful to have Emilia treating me. Her Doctorate in PT shows in her passion to help others and her in depth explanations to the questions asked were amazing. I am a war veteran which normally I am treated at the VA. I was able to get a consult to CTC and lucky received Emilia. Her techniques and full explanation of every exercise and or move was very beneficial and helped me better understand what I needed to do for a healthier feeling in body and life as a whole. Emilia greatly helped me in my everyday struggle of no sleep and shoulder and neck pain. The exercises she has me doing overall improved my flexibility and maneuverability of my upper body. I feel 100% better from before seeing her. As for my experience with other staff members and wait time, these are also excellent! As many others have stated we are always greeted with a friendly smile at the front desk along with conversation. While waiting in the lobby after sign in it usually takes no more than 5 minutes to be called by a staff member to set your station up for PT. Every staff member I have had is both friendly, kind and helpful and see the others I haven't had follow same procedure. The one bad review below really should be removed as I am sure its referencing some other location or business as there is only 8 seats in the waiting area. The front desk staff are in clear vision and view of all patients at all times. There is no way someone would be left in this waiting area for 2 hours with no attention. Furthermore not 2 hours after being placed in a room as the staff members here all work together and help each other. They are constantly checking other rooms/patients to ask if they need help or questions on anything and even will provide your exercises if you forgot. I find it very hard to believe those comments are about this location as it's just not possible. Its close quarters in a few areas of the weights and bed tables but not to an uncomfortable standpoint,so its imposible to not be seen or helped by anyone for 2 hours at this location. I have been here on various appointment times and the experience is exactly the same every visit. Pleasant and helpful. This place is HORRIBLE!! They do not by any means manage their patients or their time good at all.. They over book patients, and they make them wait in the waiting are for 2 hours, then they will get called into the back for vitals only, then they have to wait some more in the waiting area. The receptionist is completely rude and alwa6s has an attitude!! Then when they get get called to the back to finally see the doctor, they are back there waiting for yet another 2 hours!! It's out of control, and I don't understand how they can run an office like this. Completely unprofessional.. I would NEVER ever recommend this place.. NEVER!!!! I had my right knee replaced in October 2019 and started at Comprehensive Therapy in November. Henry was a great therapist! He had my knee like new in a matter of weeks. I had my left knee replaced in 2017 and used a different therapy center. What a difference! My left knee was never really good after therapy back in 2017 so I had Henry work on that one as well. In about 4 weeks he has vastly improved my left knee! I am really grateful for Henry and the staff at Comprehensive Therapy. I recently had a total knee replacement. Henry has created a program that has me progressing toward normal earlier than I thought I'd be capable of. Bad days, full of pain and discomfort, Henry has found the nerve or the problem in a muscle or tendon and corrected the issue. My exercise program has me getting stronger and a normal walking gate that the as average person can't tell I've even had surgery. I honestly cannot see myself being more comfortable or confident with any other Physical Therapist. Would not return to this center. On one visit I was left in the waiting room 30 minutes while I watched others come in after me and be taken back. Had to approach the receptionist and of course apology after apology. On one visit I was taken back and put on the heating pad, as is normal, but then no one returned for over 30 minutes. Again apology after apology. On another visit my therapist worked on me, and then said I could leave, I hadn't had any exercise that day. If I needed to cancel an appointment, I was grilled as to why. It is really none of their business. The condition I was treated for was made better, but at the expense of aggravating another spinal condition, even though I had made them aware of the problem. It is too busy of a center to provide the individualized care one needs at these type of places. I have had better experiences elsewhere. read more
