Great spot... Cool vibes, good Dj fun time! Check it out if your visiting ATL. Dress code grown and sexy, people were cool drinks were pricey but that's to be expected.

COMPOUND is THE PLACE TO PARTY IN ATLANTA This is, in my opinion, the closest thing that Atlanta has to an internationally appreciated nightclub fixed with multiple dance floors featuring world class DJs. I've seen the sun rise over Sydney Harbor after a night of partying in celebrity filled clubs and have danced along the Mediterranean, and Compound is not far from world status. I suggest getting on the mailing list. That way you can RSVP for you and a friend on Friday nights and other special events to avoid the 20 dollar cover charge, which I have to admit is worth it if you plan to pay cover anywhere in Atlanta. There are the occasional fashion shows or celebrity sponsored events with Atlanta's finest producers and artists being featured guests. And you might be able to catch your favorite DJ on a tour. I've always had a good time at Compound and have only had to buy my drink once. Guys and girls are plentiful and all are hot. Dress code is enforced. And expect to stand in line if you get there past 11. It's probably the only nightclub I will stand in line for.

Had a wonderful time at this establishment! If I could sum in up in two words, I'd say black excellence. The ambiance, the people, the drinks! Me and my girls got invited in VIP and was standing on couches and getting handed Hennessy with no chaser! We took a Uber so it was no charge for parking and it was 20 entry fee. We got there late but it didn't close to well after 3! Thanks Atlanta!

Domaine - Lighting is insane !

I don't understand the bad reviews. I flew into Atlanta for a show this past weekend, and I thought…read morethis venue was fantastic. Our bartender, Ryan was great, the crowd was fun, the lighting is INSANE, the sound is phenomenal, and who doesn't love an outdoor pool area at a club! I can't wait to go back here!

Tried to leave an honest google review for this venue and guess what? They had it removed because…read moreit accurately reflected how miserable it is to attend a show here. So, HERE is that review of Domaine nightclub in Atlanta: Visited domaine to catch deadmau5 when he was in town a few weeks back. WORST venue I've ever been to in Atlanta. First off, why did you convert your main dance floor into a 10 ft wide hallway? It's like you designed it to ensure crowd crushing dynamics happen. Want to get near the middle of the dance floor two hours before the headliner goes on? Good luck! you are gonna be fighting for hours inch by inch into people who already have no room to spare until you *maybe* get there. IF you do, you're gonna find there's not any more room to breathe in the middle and everyone who made it that far is also miserable. People were getting exhausted simply trying to maintain their spot and I heard at least five different people exclaim outloud that they hated being there. I watched some people attempt to shove their way forward, and for the first time ever I saw them actually get denied due the sheer lack of physical space. Literally the venue got to a point where there was no way they could even *shove* themselves forward, because every single inch was occupied by a person already. It was disgusting. I can honestly say that *CATTLE ON A FACTORY FARM HAVE MORE SPACE THAN YOU WILL HAVE* in general admission. Meanwhile over in VIP, it appeared that for many of the people, simply enjoying their seat in the booth was not sufficient. They had to sit on TOP of the booths, which funny enough blocks the view for all the people in general admission on the left and right sides attempting to find some way to enjoy the show they paid for. Of course, 2/3 into that show the VIP areas were completely empty. Which is wild because at least 30% of the total floor space was completely vacant while the other 70% were suffocating. Keep in mind I am 6' 2" and I could barely see, so if you're shorter than me you have absolutely no chance. I have been around the Atlanta EDM scene for 10 years and this venue is hands-down the worst i've ever seen. Thankfully, there are so many other good venues to choose from that we can all avoid this place the owners come to realize they have taken a once functional nightclub, and turned it into a total nightmare for 90% of their customers in an attempt to make more money on bottle service and VIP tickets. There is absolutely no reason to go see an act at Domaine.

My Sister's Room - hot chicken wings and fries

You have to go up to the bar for all food and drink orders but the sales persons wee friendly and the drinks wee tasty and well balanced. It's dark inside but not too. The DJ knows what to play and her MC was lively and kept the crowd going! There is a $10 cover charge and $10 parking in the AC hotel lot.....see the MSR website. The walk from the garage to MSR is about 6 or 7 blocks if that many.

I wish I could love MSR, I really do. But sadly no matter how hard I try, they just mess up so…read morebadly it's impossible. I can't help but think the owners here just want suck money out of the LGBTQ community, not provide an actually decent experience. Let's start with the basics. When I was here around Halloween last year, I had to use the bathroom. That was a big mistake. There was a drag show that night... MSR's response? To close the women's restroom and make it a drag prep room and then force people of all identities to use ONE restroom with ONE stall and a urinal. There was easily over 100 people in the building. You mean to tell me a LESBIAN BAR is providing ONE TOILET TO A TON OF WOMEN? Be fr. I had to wait in line with the door to the bathroom open just to use a gross toilet while men are walking in and out freely to use the urinal. Why am I being subjected to that??? Another major gripe that I have with MSR- they (illegally?) deny free water here. Maybe that has changed, the last time I was here was over the summer. But out of the like 5-6 times I have been at MSR, they've denied me cups of water every single time and the bartender insisted I have to buy bottled water. Isn't it against state law to do that in Georgia? What a truly terrible way to treat your patrons. They don't care about you. At all lol. I'm sure if they didn't have to live up to health department guidelines that conditions would be even worse. My sisters room gets business and attention because it's the only lesbian bar in this area. If (hopefully WHEN) another lesbian bar shows up on the Atlanta scene, MSR better count it's days. It's really sad and frustrating to me because I want to come here and have a good time but I just can't. As a patron I've had a bad or neutral experience every single time I went. The only reason last time was neutral was because I held my pee the whole time. I shouldn't have to do that. Please do better. This bar has no right being recognized as one of the last standing lesbian bars. If you're an entrepreneur and you're reading this, please start another lesbian bar here.

One of the biggest highlights was the variety of hookah options. They have a wide selection of flavors, and each one was smooth, fresh, and long-lasting. Everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell the bartenders know what they're doing, and the drink menu gives you a lot of options depending on your mood. The music was on point and kept the energy up, making it a fun place to party and vibe with friends. But the food situation was a mess. We were literally the first to order, and it still took over an hour for anything to come out. When it finally arrived, it was cold, oily, and smaller then a kids meal. The option was only chicken wings with fries and honestly not worth the wait or the price. The kitchen needs a serious reset. The price was a little over 25.00 including tax and a 20% required gratuity. One thing that really stood out with customer service was the assistant manager. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating, stepping in right away to apologize and genuinely trying to reconcile all the mishaps. Her professionalism made a big difference in an otherwise rough dining experience. I wish I knew her name but she was a black manager! Overall: awesome music, great bottle service, and good assistant manager--but eat before you come. The atmosphere delivers, but the food definitely doesn't.
