It really is true that you get what you pay for, but in this case I got a lot more! Marlisa was professional, courteous, and meant to cut hair. It's evident that her prior work as a carpenter has prepared her to be an artistic barber who gives high-quality haircuts. I feel like I FINALLY found my barber. As far as the cut goes, it's exactly what I wanted. My hair is somewhat difficult to cut because it's thick and long on top but I have a fade on the sides. Finding a barber who specializes in clippers as well as scissors is a lot more challenging than you might think. But Marlisa is an expert in both and it really showed in my haircut. The experience was also a premium one. I was offered a beverage as soon as I walked in, my coat and hat were taken to be hung in a coat closet, and I was walked over to the barber chair. The shop itself is really clean and modern with good music playing, and a tv. Marlisa offered a hot towel shave with a straight razor and cleaned me up with a hot towel at the end. How about start asking if you're a member or not and get the members info up and running to move the call along. I would also insist that H&N have a list of services with the cost of credits for each service. I have asked for that service/credit list a few times and have been told it doesn't exist. The only way to find this info is to sign in to their site and do a booking for a service. It wills be nice to have a cheat sheet with members' info. Therefore not a total frictionless five star experience.
