Pat always does a great job! You can walk in, but if you want Pat I would definitely call ahead and schedule a time. The barber shop only has 2 seats. I have a tried a few barbers in the Fairfield County area and Pat is the best! You will not be disappointed. The place is right above the Greg & Tony Salon on Post Rd. Don't drive by looking for a giant Riverside Barber sign. There is only a little sign above a window on the side of the building. After months of searching for the perfect barber I finally found it in Riverside Barber shop. Pat is a stand-up guy, a great judge of character, and to top it off will give you an awesome haircut every time. I've been going to Pat for over 2 years now and have yet to receive a less-than-perfect hair cut. He treats every customer differently and is easy to hold a conversation with. He fits every haircut like a suit and won't let you leave until you're happy. Price is a little steep compared to a place like Supercuts but when you go you will understand what you are paying for... Pat is my exclusive barber and wouldn't pay anyone else to cut my hair. Riverside Barber shop is the real deal. My only advice is schedule your appointment in advance if you want Pat, and make sure you arrive on-time as he is usually booked solid. For walk-ins they have a new guy, Bill, who I'm sure is also great if Pat is letting him work in his shop. read more

I've been going to Pat since I was a kid, almost 20 years now. He'll give you a great haircut and is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. Not much more you can ask from your barber. One note: he is an old school type - a "faux-hawk" makes him raise an eyebrow - so if you're going for something a little exotic, you may want to bring a picture. read more
