What a disappointing experience. This was my first time here and I went in for a facial with Rylee. Mind you I've tried some other places in the area since i'm newer to the area to see what I like best, but I'm not new to facials. Rylee seemed bored or bothered to be there and she didn't take the time to explain anything. The appointment consisted one one-worded explanations for every step. At one point she applied the jelly mask on me and walked out for about 15-20 minutes. Is that normal?? When she came back in she wiped the mask off and sent me on my way. I thought I'd at least get sunblock or something for my way out. It was such an odd experience because the atmosphere seems lovely on the way in but what a disappointing service and esthetician. If you don't like your job maybe you should move on? I hope this business gets it together. read more

Rylee Powell is literally an angel. She is so knowledgable, friendly, and talented. All around a fantastic esthetician! I started seeing Rylee probably at least 6 years ago for lashes, I still get my lashes done by her as well as skincare now. I was impressed then but she continues to exceed my expectations. I used to live in Hollister, now Campbell and I commute to see her for regular appointments. Her services are more than worth it to me. Rylee literally does the most amazing lash extensions. I personally love a more natural look from her but I've also seen her do more voluminous styles for people who like that style. I also have gotten lash lifts by her which I LOVE. Normally my eyelashes are stick straight so the lash lift makes me look more awake and put together naturally! Finally, her facials! She has got some magic and relaxing hands. I leave glowing. I absolutely love this place. I first went in just to get my eye brows done with Diana about a month ago after looking for someone for a long time. She did an amazing job, and while she was doing my brows we started talking about skin,because she also does that WIN WIN. Well she gave me some recommendations from the products she carries and sent me home with samples to try. Well I was back in 3 days buying the products because they were that great. Totally turned my skin and maskne around and the best part is they are reasonably priced which means it's a skin care routine I can stick with without breaking the bank. Booked two red carpet diamond glow facial appointments as a gift for others. I booked them on the same day with just 30 minute difference. To be clear, one of them had already had this exact facial done previously at this business which she Loved, which is why I booked it for them. They reported back to me and I was told Denise was absolutely wonderful. She took her time and was very thorough at every minute. The one star is for Rylee's lackluster service and the owner's lack of care. Appointment with Rylee started late, even if it's 3 minutes, it's still late. I'm sure it wouldn't be appreciated if it were the other way around. And really, what's most important is that not all steps of the facial were performed in comparison to the same semi-parallel appointment that same day with Denise. The neck and décolletage were not touched, this was apparently supposed to happen during jelly mask. The client and her friend were both very clear about this. Once the jelly masked was removed neither moisturizer nor sunblock was applied. I called the office immediately upon being informed. I expressed my concern that I feel like one of them did not get the service that was purchased. Briefly spoke with the owner Diana. I was told she'd call me back and this is day 2-- still no call back, even after I followed up. Rylee called me back and tried to say it did happen but there are two other people who sat in that room stating it did not happen. She also said I would get a call back from someone-- again, no call back. Super disappointing. So, if you book, book with Denise. She was amazing. If you're comfortable with lackluster service and care, book with Rylee. I wish I had read reviews before booking with her. Unfortunately, it looks like it's not the first time something like this has happened. read more

So normally I don't give bad reviews. This time I had to. I normally go to my lady in Monterey. She was busy opening her own shop. I looked up this shop and saw some good reviews on Instagram. I said to myself ok ill book a appointment with them. I had my appointment with Rylee and It was for a facial. One thing they don't tell you is there is no parking allowed in the back, so I had to park on the street which was ok, but that made me even a bit more late. I called and told them I got lost, and they said it was ok. So I arrived and I sat outside for 4 min more time wasting, nobody was in front of me in line. The front office girl was not there. Then Rylee came and got me and she was not pleasant. Was not welcoming. just said ok come in like what?!?! Once I got in the room it seemed not put together. I laid down on the swerving table which felt unsteady. She started to do my facial and as she was doing it the serum of the hydra facial started running down my eye. Now I don't know about you but I have never experienced that before. She did not clean it up and say nor say sorry. I thought this experience was not professional at all. I should have not paid! I did reach out to the owner, she seemed nice but believed more of what her employee said. That to me is not smart business.
