We suspected it might be the capacitor, but the first technician pushed for a new motor. The second technician didn't mention the capacitor or the motor and instead recommended replacing the entire unit for $9,000. Aquaduct diagnosed the problem as a faulty capacitor and replaced it. If we truly needed a new air conditioner, that would have been fine. Our current unit is 15 years old, and we understand that it might have been time. But what we wanted was an honest assessment, and that's exactly what Aquaduct provided. I highly recommend Aquaduct!

We had an extremely poor experience with Aquaduct Plumbing after they installed our water heater…read more The installation was not done correctly (dielectric union, flue and drain pan) and corrosion developed at the dielectric union within a few years. This issue was pointed out to their technician during a service visit, & we followed up by email with photos clearly showing the corrosion. They claimed it was not their fault and since it is outside the labor warranty they wouldn't take care of it. When the issue recently worsened and we asked them to stand behind their installation, they pointed to an expired labor warranty and then stopped responding to our emails entirely. A water heater installation should last far longer than this without corrosion at the fittings, and a reputable plumbing company should take responsibility when a clear installation issue is identified, regardless of elapsed time. Unfortunately that was not our experience with Aquaduct Plumbing. Now I have a 4 year old water heater that will likely need fully replaced because of this piece that is almost fully corroded. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It wasn't until my husband started calling that he finally got an answer and was told they'd be here at noon. That time again came and went, but they did finally show up at 1pm. The two guys that came out resolved the issue, but said their "card reader was down and could only accept cash". Since this repair is going through my home warranty, I need the invoice for reimbursement and have been told since Monday that Bob (the owner) would send it. Monday night he said, nothing. Tuesday night he said, nothing. Wednesday morning he said he was working on it "right now", nothing. Wednesday evening he said he was working on it "right now", you guessed it - nothing. At this point I don't think it's ever going to happen, likely because this isn't a real company. They're not BBB accredited, cannot communicate over several days, and overall has been a nightmare to work with. I'm kicking myself for cancelling with another plumber that quoted me the same price, so don't be like me - call this guy instead (2247046220) Drainmaster Sewer & Plumbing LLC! Same price, way more professional, and has the reviews to back it up. They had some install issues with the second faucet and stayed until it was completely done and functioning well, past 8pm on a Friday. The price was a touch higher than what I expected BUT I did not ask for an estimate and they did have to do some extra work they didn't anticipate, so I was happy to pay. I'm actually fairly certain they fixed my running toilet and I didn't even ask them to do that. I highly recommend this service.

On December 26, I paid a $125 estimate fee and was quoted $4,500 to replace a pump and tank and redo plumbing. I was told the $125 would be credited if we moved forward. When the work was done, they determined the tank did not need to be replaced, yet I was still charged the full $4,500 and the estimate fee was not deducted. Shortly after installation, the pump was not functioning properly. When I asked them to return to fix it, they attempted to sell me a whole-house filtration system instead of addressing the issue. I declined. They later blamed our problems on an issue with the well and claimed they could not fix it. I hired a well contractor who resolved the problem in 30 minutes without touching the well, leading me to believe there was never an issue with the well. I requested an itemized invoice, which did not align with the work performed. Based on labor and materials, the job appears significantly overpriced (almost double). I formally requested a partial refund on January 12 and followed up multiple times, most recently on February 6, and have received no response. I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of response and professionalism. I've also since been informed that they were never even licensed to have done the work they performed. I am sharing my experience in hopes that it can save someone else the headache and loss of money.

She wanted to push me off til the next day; I declined (this was why I called ahead!) She said, "I already waived the $100 emergency fee"...what emergency? It's not like my place was flooding, and when I called I didn't say, "I need a plumber in an hour" or something. It's apparently because "they wouldn't be in the area." I finally had her cancel the appointment. The new parent company is A&P Grease Trapping, and the Blue Whale number is now answered "A&P," which was confusing until I looked it up. But I do not recommend this plumber any longer; the scheduling and customer care needs a lot of work with this new arrangement.

I told him we were done here before he did any work and he said he boss would be billing us on his way out which is laughable. Big time bait and switch artists. Avoid at all costs.
