After 5 minutes guy on phone 2nd call and lady yells you got another call from Southgate Ford. Quite a lively conversation in back 2 ladies getting paid for nothing. Now a 2nd customer lines up behind me WTF, after another minute I Yell loudly towards the back can we get some help up here. The guy slams down the phone and says I'm mutil tasking take you down here. No f'ing way I left went to Lincoln Park location walked up to counter helped right away. This happened at 2:50 pm Thursday 5/16 /24 , district manager needs to watch tape and FIRE the 2 ladies getting paid and not helping customers.

So this is probably the best place and one of the cheapest place to find used parts for your car. $1 to rent a wheel barrow. Bring your tools and you're ready to go hunting. Just go through rows and rows and rows of cars that they have on the lot. We were looking for wheels and a rear hatch switch for my chevy blazer. The wheels were pretty easy to find. $40/wheel is a very good deal. Specially when I'm just swapping the tires out for winter treads. The switch was a bit harder to find. I felt like we searched each and every one of the same car or similar til we found one that has the clips still intact. Anyways,, for less than $200,, I walked away with a good switch and four rims for my chevy blazer, and I'm definitely a happy camper. I'll probably be coming back again next time for other items. I really feel the happiest when I'm doing things that give me a sense of accomplishment in the end. After the back and forth blame game I sent my car to another shop which confirmed a bad transmission. I called back same run around to send pictures of the same codes. A solenoid is not an electrical but mechanical. never once tried to offer a solution, refund or anything. I wouldn't buy anything mechanical from this place. Ironically, the one good review for the ford escape, is the same guy that sold me the bad trans. Stay away from this place

Mostly purchase from your competitors since they have a solid inventory online. So I ordered 4 items only shows ready for pickup today at Romulus location. I go by 4 hours later Mitch tells me nope don't have one if the items, so damn sad. He checks his computer says Westland and Dearborn all in stock, funny your online customer page shows need to be ordered. I ask him to check Southgate, sure enough has it all, he gives me a print out of order now canceled. Absolutely exciting experience with Edward at Southgate, after telling him your inventory system SUCKS. He happily took care of my order. Now why do I need to call your store to check inventory, I hate talking on phone. Fix your system like NOW, hire someone from Advance or Autozone that has properly entered inventory system. Your loss cause I just refuse to call. Give Edward a raise he rocks.
