He puts up a great front of being friendly, but this just goes to show how small his ego is. I'm not one to leave reviews but I want everyone to be aware what's under the mask he wears. He's friendly as long as you leave a 5 star review... Here's a copy of my google review: Tried upselling me a front brake job for nearly $400. Told me all my front brakes needed replacing. Just took apart my brakes, pads were completely fine, drivers side rotor and caliper were fine. Only thing that was wrong was my passenger side caliper needed the pins cleaned and lubed, they were sticking just a little causing more heat on the rotor. Took me less than an hour to fix and just a $12 bottle of lube from autozone. Didn't need all new parts to replace everything like they tried to tell me. In my own experience I went for one small thing and they tried upselling for multiple things. They also tried to sell me new rear struts for $700, they told me they were leaking. Checked them myself and had another mechanic take a look and they were completely fine.

Scammers…read more110% Caught red handed several times for one friggin job, which they had to redo because of their installation, so instead they called Monroe and said they gave them bad parts and got new ones. That's Monroe's loss because the reason the struts were no good was because they left the giant stickers across the top of them and they couldn't seat to the car. I drove my sister an hour on the freeway twice with the car like this, steering all unsteady. They even tried to fake it like they fixed the struts and called me begging to get the car which I couldn't, only to call the next morning and found out it wasn't pulled in until then. So he was trying (desperately) to get me to pick up the car, (I'm sure with they had cut the stickers out, because it had never entered the shop yet. They put the struts in the next day when they arrived. Had I picked up my car Mike would have made up a story about me picking up my car I am sure and kept the brand new struts from Monroe, hoping I wouldn't notice in the few days left I had in my warranty that the car was still unstable. There was also a very serious problem with the rear axle which I know they had their hands on to put shocks on but they didn't mention it to me because they Cherry picked their work. I can hear the employees not wanting to work and even telling customers false information, I'm no mechanic but I do a lot of work with service shops and I am a car enthusiast myself. To tell a customer they need to change their fuel pump to be able to get more life out of the oil as well as fixing a thermostat doesn't seem pretty fair.
