I was told to bring the truck in at 10am and that I'd need to approve a $250 inspection fee upfront, even though I have a premium care warranty. They couldn't clearly explain what would or wouldn't be covered. I dropped the vehicle off at 9am and was promised a call in the afternoon with an update. No one called. I had to follow up myself at 2pm, and again at 4:30pm after being left on hold. By the end of the day, I was told they hadn't done anything on the truck. No inspection, no real progress, and no communication. I then went to pick up my vehicle, and no one apologized or explained anything. No communication, no accountability, and no respect for customers' time. Completely unacceptable experience. I won't be coming back.

I like recycling, I am a firm believer that if you can find parts for cheap,,, WHY NOT? Specially when it works. Anyways, I was in search of a rear wiper motor for my chevy. I called them up on the phone, barked the parts what I was looking for and quoted me $25 for the exchange. Total noob of me, I didn't know that if you exchange the bad part for the good part, they'll give me the motor for $25. Well, it ended up costing me $30 instead. Which is still very cost effective since a new one would set me back $60 - $75. Anyways, I got the part, paid for it and gave me a reciept. The guy at the counter told me that if I brung the bad part back in with the reciept, they would refund the $5 back to my credit card, which is AWESOME!! I can see myself coming back here in search of stuff to satisfy my inner grease monkey. Yes it's in the rougher part of downriver, but for some reason I was perfectly safe. I even walked outside my car, my feet actually touched pavement and walked from my car to the door. I'm disappointed I wasn't mugged or shot or any of that sort. Weeeeee!! Hooray for man stuff!

He was faced with having to basically scrap the vehicle because he couldn't afford the $12K repair bill, in part because the insurance recommended shop insisted the frame was bent and needed replacement. We took the SUV to Dustin and his team, they had repaired another of our son's vehicles about a year earlier. Not only did Dustin determine the damage wasn't as severe as what the first shop claimed, the frame was indeed not bent, but he was able to source used parts vs. new (which the other shop insisted had to be due to the age of vehicle @ 12 years old), but he managed to get the parts in and repair all within a few weeks. The repair looks amazing, you'd never know the entire rear of vehicle had been replaced and the cost was close to 1/3 what the original shop (whom we now believe was trying to scam us and our insurance). Our only mistake was not taking it to 8 Mile Collision in the first place and letting our insurance choose to spot. You won't regret taking your vehicle to this spot, top notch.

I had rear rotors and brake pads installed plus an oil change. $350 for everything, which is pretty fair. Everyone I talked to was friendly and professional and the job was done by the time I finished work, so there was no waiting around. They're not allowing anyone inside due to Covid, so the guy met me outside, ran my card, and I was on my way home in minutes. The only negative was that I needed a tire repaired but they don't have the equipment to take the tire off the rim to do a repair, so I have to go somewhere worse to get that done. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied!
