We had a sinkhole open up in our residential driveway due to improper installation of our…read moreunderground gutter drains when the house was built 12 years prior. So it was a bit of an emergency situation. Valli responded quickly and brought a third-party professional who had a scope that could be put down into the drain system to locate the underground problem. This helped them be more sure what they were dealing with for quoting and planning the project. They moved quickly to start and complete the repair which involved removing large boulders and other fill material, installing new drain pipe, and properly backfilling and grading. They also coordinated with a third-party paver who we paid directly. Since Valli pulled together everyone needed to bring the project together, it was easy for us. The work was professional, and they were nice to work with.

5/5 AJ is hands-down…read morethe best contractor I've ever hired. He went above and beyond in every possible way. He fixed multiple issues in my home that other people either overquoted, ignored, or said couldn't be done without replacing everything. Not only did he get it all done -- he did it perfectly and with so much care. He repaired a front door latch, patched a basement door with a huge hole, installed two new windows, brought my lawnmower inside, and even helped with a few extra things I didn't expect him to handle. He worked an incredibly long day and was professional, patient, and detailed through every step. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work -- AJ absolutely does. He's genuine, respectful, hardworking, and extremely fair with pricing. I honestly feel lucky to have found someone this reliable. If you want someone who does the job right, treats your home like his own, and shows real integrity in his work, call AJ. I'll be recommending him to everyone I know.

Promises to have excellent work and that the work will be done correctly. However, the workmanship overall is not good, several issues had to be resolved. Stephen (if he comes) shows up on site for maybe 30 mins at the beginning of the day. Stephen doesn't check any of the work to ensure its up to code or if he does, he doesn't know the code and will cause rework later. I requested all work to be permitted at the beginning of the project. After questioning when the inspector was coming, his workers said Stephen was dealing with that. Stephen never filed for the permitting until I told him it had to be done. Work had to be paused for a month while waiting for inspector to come to the house. Cracks in grout from install after 2 months. I found out there was no Schluter or hardy board under the tile and it was put directly onto plywood. After 3 attempts to repair by just adding more grout into the cracks and caulking into the grout, I complained enough that he replaced it with LVP. They poured a concrete pad right before a frost and mounted the split unit condenser on it 2 days after pouring. I asked Stephen to fix this and his response was "it's a useable pad". I was so feed up with the excuses and the terrible workmanship that I didn't even want him to come back. Several other items had to be fixed, mounting the split units within 2 inches from the ceiling, not cleaning the walls before painting, stripped screws, and overall just terrible finishing work. The other issue I had was that they used my tools and shop vac while working on the projects without consent. Completely unprofessional. Stephen Hale offers a good price but the headaches and numerous failed inspections were a nightmare. Spend a little more and avoid the problems.
