The bathrooms were disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a good long while. During the wake the staff was absent and not readily available when the family or guests had questions or needs. When we did look for the staff we found a very young teenager that had been left in charge of the office while the staff were out front smoking. When the office staff followed us in to answer questions they brought the lit cigarette with them and continued to smoke it while we were with them in the office. I could go on but I'll stop here. If you have a choice, take your business elsewhere. Doesn't even deserve the one star rating that Yelp made me give in order to post this review

Michael at New Hope wasted no time in retrieving her to ease our mind. Mom loved to travel so, of course, she had one last adventure. Pam took over in the planning of the Celebration of Life and visitation and oversaw every detail with precision. Even when we wanted Elvis (cardboard stand up) to be by her side, Pam helped to accommodate all of our strange requests. Angie helped at the funeral. She gives the best hugs. I did not hesitate to call on either of these ladies who were front and center and anticipated all our needs for a peaceful transition. Let's not forget Carol, the lady that runs the place. She is a character and a truly compassionate soul. I felt as if I had made new friends. It took me three weeks to receive his ashes. It was shear mental anguish not knowing where his ashes were and when would I be able to pick them up. I called several times a day and sent numerous emails and never got any reply back. These people have put me to hell and then some. It's been over a month and I still don't have death certificates. These people are heartless. They have no shame in letting a 77 year old newly widowed woman to go through all this much to get her husbands cremains and death certificates. Don't use this company. They are only the middle man who farm out the cremation. I'm reporting them also to the BBB. This has been more mental anguish and sadness than I can handle.
