We were assigned them as a contractor to fix our dryer by our home warranty service and it has been nothing but inconvenient and unprofessional. Each time we tried to schedule an appointment with them, they had us pick a day and expected us to wait around for them to arrive the entire day. So it took us 2 weeks to settle on a day and only after we told them we had to work and could not be expected to wait, they gave us a window of arrival time: between 8 am - 1 pm and he did not show up until after 2 pm. We found him unprofessional immediately as he entered our home during COVID in a state where it is mandated to wear a mask without one. And instead of repairing the dryer he took it completely apart and said it needed replaced. Fast forward to a week later and he never reached out to our warranty company to file the replacement. This is despite us calling them multiple times and being told it was "in processing." Basically, if you want your dryer repaired please go with someone else. read more

First of all it started with the appointment was given a window between 1-5 they called and said he would be 20 minutes late but did not get there until 6:40 The issue was the tub was stuck on back wall of washer because it was off balance I told him this happen 4 years ago it would not spin with out going off balance and at that time the last repair man said it was the Suspension they replace it it and it worked fine for 5 years this repairman man with complete appliance service looked under the washer and said it was not the Suspension but never told me what was wrong with it it will not spin without going off balance I did not mind paying for the service charge but at least he could of told me what was wrong with it and if it was fixable read more

I've used Complete Appliance for a long-time and had great experiences. - We purchased a washer there at one point (used). The motor went out not very long after, but they replaced the motor quickly. We had the washer for 8 more years. - They helped me find a heating element for my Jenn-Air Convection oven--quickly and easily (reasonable too). - If you need a part, take it in and they'll find it for you. - They've repaired my fridge at least once before it went kaput. They came out to give me an estimate before I decided to replace as well. I'm sure there's something that I'm leaving out. They've been a great place to work with. They are right around the corner and been great to work with. Never had an issue on price. They've been great on timing (generally get out same day too). Appliance repair is a risky business. Seems like most appliances cost more to service or repair then to just go buy new. I have a coin operated Washer and dryer in a rental property that I own. When the dryer started making a loud noise I was able to replace a guide roller myself. But when i put everything back together the dryer was not heating. I called Complete and explained exactly what happened. They sent a repair person who did not seem to know what he was doing. He made a couple guesses took my $79 and promised he'd get back to us with a solution. It has been 10 days and we're still waiting. Next time we'll take the $79 and go buy a reconditioned coin dryer for $400. With a 6 month warranty. read more

Had a guy come out to fix my dryer. Years ago it would have cost $120.00. The technician said that it would cost $350.00. I had to pay him $51.00 just To come out. Called Complete Appliance Service last Tuesday for a washer machine not working. The serviceman came out said it would be middle 300s but he needed to order the part . He said two day and they work on Saturday too . So no call back . I called Friday to ask if I someone was coming to fix the washer they said no all book up . We can come Monday between 1-5 well it now 5:30 I called the office at 4:55 and no one answered the phone. Complete service.....Ha. There is not a way to post negative number of stars...or i would have!!! Run do not walk away from this company. I was first told they could fix our machine for one price, then after we ok'd the work....the price went up. I questioned that and then we were told to not fix the machine its not worth it....but we could buy a used machine from them for less.. I feel like they are more interested in selling us a used machine than fixing ours... wonder how much our machine will be when they resell it? Someone came out to look at our oven and was told we will get a phone call within a week... 2 weeks later we had to call to see what was going on and was told to call back in a few days. After multiple attempts to track someone down we were told the piece was on back order until 2020... Paid $80 for nothing, Took over 2 weeks to track someone down, NO HELP AND DONT RECOMMEND. Our Samsung refrigerator was making a very loud noise and we thought the compressor was going out. When I called, Complete Appliance they were able to come out the next day. They called ahead and were very timely in arrival. Brandon the tech knew even before the diagnostic what was wrong. 2 sensors were bad causing ice build up and the fan motor hitting the ice. We ordered the parts and he returned when they came in. The fee for the first call $79 was applied to the repair. Brandon was great in getting to the ice and let me clean all the shelves before reinstalling them after his repair. He gave me advice on this model as well to help prevent further issues and keep it running well. The office and tech were both professional, knowledgeable and fairly price. Glad to find a company with good service that does what they say they will do. Thanks! read more

The only reason they get one star is because I can't choose zero stars! Technician, nice enough guy, came on Thursday 9/4/14. I was charged $139 to unclog the fridge which took all of 10 minutes. Wanted $200.97 to replace a belt on my washer which I stupidly paid. Couldn't fix it then because he didn't have the part. Didn't hear anything back until today 9/10/14, after I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. When finally called by the owner, not a particularly nice person, 6 days later, he admitted I was over charged for the part. I have agreed to pay for the refrigerator repair but don't feel liable for anything with the washer, mostly because of the inconvenience. I will never, ever, call this company again and would recommend to everyone to STAY AWAY from this company!!! read more

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with this company. I used them for years and somebody told me to try another company which I did. After 2wks with the other company, my refrigerator still wasn't fixed. I called Complete Appliance Service and they came out the same day. Brandon was very friendly and knowledgeable about my problem. He ordered the part, which came in quickly (2days) and Brandon came back to fix the issue. Again super company and Brandon can fix all my appliances for now on. I will never let somebody talk me into another company. Complete Appliance Service will be my company for now on. Disappointed ....... I had a technician come to check my fridge for a leak - he diagnosed the problem and another technician came back to make the repair. This was under my fridge with the ice machine and when he replaced the plastic tube he put it in front of the fridge blocking my kick plate from snapping back on. I have been fighting with this kick plate and just realized that the tube is in the wrong place - I called to have them come and correct and they will not make it right since the repair was in January without charging me a service call fee - FORGET IT - I don't think I should pay for something they did wrong. read more

I dealt with Complete Appliance Repair through the 2/10 Home Warranty network. My gas stove was "red-tagged" by Duke Energy. The technician they sent to my house could not find any leak. I had to call Duke to come while he was there. Duke continued to find a leak, but the technician said he needed to research my model further. When I called to confirm the appointment I was told that there was no gas leak. Turns out the owner was listening to my call without annoucing himself. When I told him that was illegal, he told me to f*ing sue him. Even the home warranty company is shocked at how they have treated me and will be notifying their rep. Unbelievable. This review is for the service call and repair portion of the business as I have not used their sales services. My fridge quit working suddenly. The capicitor wouldn't kick on. Everything else worked; ice, water, lights, fans, etc. I tried diagnosing it myself thinking it was the start and/or run capicitor, but this was not the issue. I tried leaving it unplugged overnight. This didn't work. I called these guys and someone was at my door in 15 minutes (I live about 10 minutes away). I think the service persons name was Brandon. He went over everything on my fridge and everything tested fine. We plugged it back in and the compressor kicked right on! He said it could have been anything from a power surge to a computer issue that just sorted itself out. He also left the work order open for 3 months in case the issue persisted. All in all, the repair man was speedy, polite, and thorough, they were affordable and my service call fee would be credited if I chose to have them repair the issue; luckily it has not come back. read more

I manage commercial and residential property in Covington and Alexandria for two different companies. I used to use Complete Appliance exclusively for refrigerators and ranges for apartments. The last time I used them they charged the wrong bank card that they had on file without prior authorization. The card they charged was for the wrong company. There happened to be a low balance in the account they charged at the time and the charge created an overdraft along with an overdraft fee. After calling to notify them of the mistake they immediately reversed the charges and charged the correct account but they refused to cover the overdraft fee. They told me to take it up with my bank. I did talk to my bank but since it wasn't their fault they didn't reverse the charge. I called back to Complete and talked to the owner and he still refused to cover the charge. The whole fiasco left a very bad taste in my mouth for the company and now prefer to use a different company for my appliance needs. read more
