I would give more stars if I could! This is not just some company looking to make a profit. My father was on this service for almost a year prior to his death. He was not just a number. My family was treated like we were apart of the Compassus family. The people that came to the house to take care of my father became part of our family. The main nurse that took care of him even came to the funeral to give her condolences and support to my mother, who was so thankful. The nurses, home aides, and every member of Compassus we came in to contact with was extremely professional and compassionate. We received all the help we could want. Every time we called for help or a question the nurses were always eager to do a visit even if it was just a question about some of his medicine. The Compassus team made every thing easier for us. Especially at a time when nothing seemed like it was going to be easy. They were reassuring and communicated with our entire family every step of the way. They explained my father's condition and how it would progress. They explained EVERYTHING! So when his disease did progress and he started to decline we already knew what to expect, which did not make it easier but it did help knowing what to expect and not catch us by surprise. Even after my father's death the services they offered for grief support were amazing and much needed. They offer bi-monthly grief support groups as well as one on one grief counseling, all with no cost to anyone, even close family friends. This organization was a God- send for my family and I. I will be forever grateful for them. read more
