Katherine" is my Uncle's care giver, and he/we just love her! She's the brightest part of his day! I seriously don't know what he'd do without her! He looks forward to her daily visit like she was family! And seriously, that's what she feels like! She's not only caring, but she takes her job serious! Katherine and my Uncle have such a great relationship, it makes me SO happy, I Can't be there to help out as I live out of State, and I know I can count on her to take great care of him for me! My Uncle isn't "just" my Uncle you see, he's more like my Father figure! We talk on the phone daily, most days several times a day! And I get the "Katherine" report! We just love her! read more

Horrible, first phone call, I get a guy that didnt even know where we were located (37 miles from their office). I started asking questions but he didnt know anything about anything, needed to have a nurse call me back. When she did, she was rude, telling me all the "hoops" i needed to jump through before they would do anything. She didn't even ask me what we needed. then I got heated, and her attitude was "I am sorry YOU are having a bad day, but dont talk to me like that" Clearly, they dont have competent people working for them. I am ashamed it has taken so long to write this review. My Mom passed October 18th of last year. Compassionate Care and all of their angels took care of her the last weeks of her life. It is an unspeakably difficult time for a family as you stand by a dying loved one. This hospice was a blessing beyond words. In the set up, execution , delivery of Mom's care, every single individual involved was absolutely stellar. I could never say enough about EACH individual who touched and cared for my Mother. They were knowledgeable, genuine, kind, respectful, thorough and COMPASSIONATE as their name says. They were available at ALL hours without any complaints. One individual drove about 100 miles to deliver pain medication in the middle of the night. Mom passed at 10 pm and they came immediately to assist us at our lowest point. There are some things that no amount of money could ever repay. This is one of them. The support we received was beyond priceless. They even followed up with us after our loss. You don't really understand until you are going through this how important those who deliver hospice care are to the person and family transitioning to a new life reality. Their nurse didn't change my husband's bandages for 3 weeks. He got fungal and bacterial infections that almost killed him and put him in the hospital for 10 days. They asked me "what number would you give to keep this out of court?" Before I gave them a number they threatened to sue me for extortion, slander and libel. My husband is a Veteran and a stage 4 cancer patient that was not prone to being sick, until this company came along. When he was put in their care he was able to walk around unassisted, and was on the road to recovering from his catheter surgery, now he is in hospice and cannot stay awake. So if they want to sue me for telling everyone what happened to my husband under their care, bring it. read more

I have worked with this company professional for 5+ years and they have NEVER let me down. I've been a D/C planner for 6 years and this is one of the most reliable companies to work with. Tanner, marketing rep, is awesome! He helps make my chaotic job, easier. I have also used them for my grandma that was on home health then transitioned to hospice. I have had the best experience. I have recently become an amputee with some complications in healing. My home nurse Linda has been a great nurse in helping me heal. When I needed to see a dr and I couldn't get an appointment for a week or 2 she would step in and call and get me in sooner. She made sure that the healing process was going good and reported any minor problems to make sure what corrective procedure would fix it. She is very good at her job. Always asked how my days are and making sure I got the support I need. read more

My husband had his appendix removed. It didn't rupture but it was heavily infected. Anyways, as the surgeon suspected, it got infected while it was trying to heal. He sent out a nurse from Compassionate Health to change the gauze inside his tummy everyday. The first nurse sent out was very nice. Kinda goofy, but nice. The second and primary nurse was also a sweet lady. She packed his wound very delicately and was conscious about his physical feelings. Though, today she came in and said that our insurance will only pay for her to come out 3 days a week, so I would have to pack his wound the 4 other days! What?! It's a six inch deep incision, I have to clean and scrape the insides, then pack it with some gauze and tape it up. How does the wife get nominated to do this?! What if he didn't have a wife/caregiver? What if I'm a bit too queasy to do this? Or how about this geniuses, what if it gets infected again because you have someone that didn't even finish a junior college packing up his incision? Don't you think that the healing process would take longer, therefore, the insurance company would have to pay more? MORONS!! So, today I played nurse. Before you start calling me an insensitive wife, or repeating, "For Better or Worse Nichole..." think of this. I have a 17 month old, for those of you who have never had a child she is at that stage where she is running not walking anywhere, figuring out that she can scream at the top of her lungs and get attention, potty training (when she wants to), putting anything in her mouth, this includes snails, dirt, her shoes... For the past 2 weeks I have been caring for 3 people. One who cant talk (my lil girl), one who can't walk (my poor hubby), and one who walks and talks my head off ( my 10 year old). So again insurance company how do you feel that it is now my responsibility (just in case I wasn't doing enough) to pack my husbands wound? Yeah, they got an earful, and as it turns out we have 60 days coverage for a nurse to come by they just didn't want to pay it. ASSHOLES! read more

My father came home for hospice and the team from Compassionate Care were amazing. They arrived hours before he came home and got everything ready. The co-owner and the admission were here to get us through it and stayed till he arrived. The nurses and caregivers were amazing. The pastor was awesome and helped us all with his wonderful words. They supplied us with everything that we needed so we wouldn't be worried about any of it. I would like to thank the Fresno team of Compassonate Care. Tracy is the one I have the most contact with. Tracy takes care of my wound vac and changes the dressings three days a week. She is fast, observant, and is quick to get ahold of the doctor if she's suspicious about anything. Tina is always calling to make sure I have everything I need and is quick to resolve any problems I may have, including insurance issues. I always get my physical therapy needs handled by a man named Will. Will goes the extra mile getting what I need and he trained Jean to be a wonderful and challenging therapist who manages to get the best efforts out of me.
