Awful experience start to finish! I just concluded the most stressful move of my lifetime/…read moredownsizing after college students departure and thought booking this storage nearby would be easy but NO it was everything but that. I arrived at 4p during business hours to find the front doors locked and no clue on how to get inside to my unit prior to the moving truck arriving to off load my belongings. I called the company phone multiple times and got no answer. Upon watching others enter I figured out how to enter my access code and drive into the garage passage way. It may seem like common sense to someone who WORKS there or has used storage before but to a new comer/ totally unfamiliar, it was CHAOS! Upon trying to gain access to the elevator, I couldn't figure it out and an employee " Michelle " comes waltzing thru casually after 15 mins of trying to dial out and no signal inside the garage portal, she says "just enter your code on the wall". Until then I hadn't even seen the keypad, I was in the elevator trying to figure out why it wouldn't work. She had no clue where my assigned unit was, did not get up to escort me to it or welcome me formally with a smile or any gestures of politeness, yet when people of another race came subsequently she was all too happy to provide white glove service for them. After finding my unit on my own in that MAZE of a facility, I came back downstairs to inquire about one closer to the ground only to find that Michelle had disappeared and I had no clue of how to exit the building since she locked the front office!!! I used an emergency exit just before my anxiety suffocated me then was not helped at all by her who had NO IDEA where the map was and if other units were available closer to the ground/front. She dismissed me citing "there were none" yet I know she didn't even really check nor did she care. I wish I'd chosen cube smart right beside my apt and been done with it because the discrimination, service and lack thereof at Public storage is TERRIBLE! I will be moving my things out before this month completes. Never again! PS - they upsold me on a 5x10 unit when a 5x5 would've fit the 2 twin beds and frames I inquired about just fine. Crooks & incompetent racists! Great!

We had been in this storage unit for almost 10 years with no issues until now. The management (Tom…read moreand Kelly) were always professional and nice; however, we noticed rat droppings in our unit about a month ago. All of our items are for decorating events and kept in bins or boxes, we don't keep food or anything to attract rodents. We noticed the poison bait all around the property... and then we found a dead rat in our unit. Not pleased to say the least as I am terrified of rats!! No one was on site to dispose of it so I had to do so myself. We had a large unit which took over a week for us to clean the bins from rat feces and urine and relocate. Our rent wasn't waived, no discount for the inconvenience, nothing; and we had to pay $400 to move into our new unit and still pay full rent at Cubesmart!! On top of that, we had to throw away some of our silk flowers and other items because they smelled like urine. I don't blame the management for the issue, but once the issue was known to them, a proper warning could have been provided to the occupants and a better way to exterminate the rats rather than poison them knowing they would crawl into a unit to die! Totally disappointed in this outcome.

Kelly, general Manager, was professional and friendly when I first came in to complete my rental of the unit. About a week later, it was clear that I had underestimated the unit size that I needed. Kelly was able to get me a larger unit at no additional cost (I was taking advantage of the First Month Free promotion). Awesome customer service. I find the location to be convenient and the facilities well maintained.
