Before the big day, we were able to plan (music-wise) everything that was important to us, and the packet that you fill out ensures no details are missed. In short, JPW Productions should be your choice for any/all DJ needs. Thanks again, guys!

A family friend whose daughter got married at Cog Hill a few years ago used Jon Wise, and they strongly recommended him. So, after we booked our venue, JPW Productions was actually the first vendor we hired! We were really busy with last-minute wedding planning, so we were not able to fill out the music preference questionnaire until a few days before the wedding. (Yes, it was honestly insanity.) Jon was SO patient with us despite how last-minute we are. He has a great personality and didn't stress us out at all on the day of the wedding (even though it was totally within his right to do so because we didn't give him the flash drive of a certain version of a song until the day of!). Even though we filled out a list of songs we wanted played, I gave him creative control to play songs that would get people out on the dancefloor. And he did just that! Even though we only had under 140 people at the wedding, the dancefloor was hopping. We got feedback from guests that they loved the variety in the songs the DJ played. Jon did a great job of checking in with us and making sure the speeches were timed how we wanted them to be. We really appreciated it. Thank you for helping make our wedding such a success!

We were able to ask him questions and worked out some ideas we would like to try with the DJ. Our DJ was Terry. He did a wonderful job keeping things moving along and also worked with us on doing Karaoke for the reception. We were kind of worried on how it would work but he did a great job with making sure the party kept going. Also, communication with DJ Terry was fantastic. Our schedule was slightly chaotic due to the wedding party getting pictures where he came out and introduced himself without having us to find him. From there, he seem to work with the staff at our venue and the wedding party when we had to take impromptu group photos. I would recommend using Spinnin' Disc if you have any special events going on. We had a wonderful wedding and things seem to move smoothly with great music and fun.

They had helpful organizational tools leading up to the event that kept us on track with which songs we needed and gave us an easy place to log them. We had a prep call with our DJ, Chris, who asked us questions about our musical taste, level of DJ interaction we wanted at the wedding, etc. And on the day-of, he delivered: the dance floor was packed and everyone had a fantastic time. My biggest fear in hiring a DJ is that they would be cheesy, or not be able to read the room, and Chris was neither of those things. He knew his stuff and what we wanted, and was a valuable addition to our day. I would highly recommend Spinnin' Discs (and Chris in particular!) to anyone planning a wedding!
