We hired the event Chicago for day of coordination and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! As a bride who planned the wedding herself, I knew I didn't want to deal with anything on the day of. Lety came in about 6 weeks before and helped with the schedule and any last minute vendor questions and thoroughly went through anything that I might have missed. She was available before that with any questions via email that you had which was so helpful! Her expertise truly helped the day turn out how exactly how I imagined. She helped coordinate our rehearsal which was SO helpful especially since a lot of our family/bridal party have never been in a wedding before. On the day of, she was there to help make sure we're on schedule, dealing with vendor arrivals, and helping with steaming the dresses, stress, whatever you can think of! I was SO anxious and high strung the morning of and she helped alleviate that by making sure I was taken care of the entire morning. She even drove back to our hotel to get my makeup bag because I couldn't stop crying. Like are you kidding me?!!! A true savior! At the venue, her partner Veronica was the absolute sweetest with making sure me and my husband had everything, everything ran on time and helping with all vendor requests and issues. Working with The Event Chicago, Lety, & Veronica was truly a pleasure! We did the partial planning package, and honestly looking back I would have just done the full service. Lety was always professional, organized, detailed, and reassuring; everything you need during the rollercoaster of emotions one goes through during wedding planning. There were times where we felt super anxious, frustrated, and unsure of everything, but whenever we'd talk to Lety or any of our vendors, we'd come out of the meetings feeling 10x better. Thanks to Lety & Veronica I was able to be fully present and enjoy my entire wedding day. I spent over a year planning my wedding on my own so I knew I would need help the day of. Hiring them as my day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I wanted my mom and bridesmaids to enjoy the day with me as well so it was such a relief to know I had someone dedicated to helping me all day. While everyone was putting their dresses on, Lety was there to help me put on mine. She left a few buttons undone so my mom can finish with the photographer. While I took photos, Lety made sure to take all the ceremony items with her, placed my overnight bag on the party bus, and even locked the doors to my house. When we got to the church, she made sure everything was where it needed to be and helped make sure my now husband didn't see me when I walked into the church. Veronica was alongside her making sure we had everything in place for the ceremony. At the reception, Veronica made sure everything was setup perfectly and checked on me throughout the evening. She facilitated the dollar dance, placed all of our receptions items including some flowers into our bridal suite, and kept us on track with our timeline. Not enough things I can say about Lety personally and professionally. Hired her last minute for an engagement party and even though she already had a booking, she scheduled me in and two of The Event staff worked my party. Jacqueline and Karen were so hands on, and made sure everyone was taken care of, even though when extra people arrived that didn't have a seat. Lety was in constant communication with me and I have to say, for something so last minute, myself and my fiancé never stressed once.
