My team worked with Wantz Events for a large corporate party earlier this year. The task usually falls on me but luckily this year, we were able to hire a planner. Planning a huge event is a full-time job that I did not have time for. Wantz Events came in and did everything - created a theme and design, planned it all, worked with the outside vendors, setup the event, and managed it all the day of the party. So I was tasked with planning my company's annual party this year. I'm usually the one that organizes company happy hours or team dinners. The easy stuff right? Well we wanted to do something bigger this year for our party and I was soon overwhelmed with planning and organizing the venue, calling all the vendors, coming up with a theme, etc .. that's when a co-worker recommended Sarah from Wantz events to help. After 15 minutes into our first meeting the anxiety and stress I had associated with planning this event went away. Sarah made me feel at ease with everything .. she listened to what I was trying to do, understood my apprehension to coordinating everything and then took over. I gave her my budget, # of guests, a rough idea of what I wanted .. something unique and creative but not too crazy because we have a wide age range in our office. She literally took care of every last detail and nailed it with a yacht party with amazing small bites/cocktails and a 3 piece band playing in the background. She even had yacht theme decorations and captain hats that were great for pictures! Selfishly, what I liked best about hiring Sarah was that I could enjoy the event and not worry about any of the logistics but take all the credit. Months later and people are still talking about how much fun it was. I would never have been able to pull off something this creative. My parents and I worked with Sarah from Wantz Events on my big 30th birthday bash. Sarah was super detail-oriented, creative, and just understood my vision for the party. Throughout our engagement I thought of hiring a planner but held out for a number of reasons. Two weeks before the wedding that all thankfully changed! Sarah from Wantz Events was referred to me by my calligrapher for DOC services. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable, detail-oriented and thoughtful Sarah was during our first meeting. She was amazing at jumping in and understanding our vision for our wedding day. Sarah joined us for our rehearsal and was absolutely amazing! After running around all week with final vendor meetings, I could hardly think during our rehearsal. Sarah was right by my side during the entire rehearsal helping me through! Her suggestions were phenomenal! She is incredibly organized, thoughtful, patient, and definitely knows what she's doing. We had a large bridal party and Sarah was great and respectful at directing them. Sarah also helped with coordinating my vendors and communicated with them frequently prior to our wedding day. All my vendors raved about how organized and easy she was to work with. On our wedding day, Sarah again was nothing but extraordinary! No detail was left out. We received countless compliments on Sarah! There were a number of vendors that needed direction/were late but I had no idea until after my wedding. Sarah was amazing at handling every situation and relieving so much stress from us that day. I could have not asked for a better person to help me with all of the details!
