    LONG REVIEW BUT READ BEFORE CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR EVENT:…read more I should start out with saying I have been in contact with the owner Stacie MULTIPLE times and am left with nothing but frustration. Stacie is not a bad person but I do feel she is completely overwhelmed in running this business. I've been dealing with Funtime Services since April 1st 2025 trying to book a mobile petting zoo for my daughter's first birthday planned for June 2025 and the experience has been frustrating to say the least. Communication has been a major issue throughout the process, especially with Stacie herself since anyone else I did get to talk with couldn't help me in the slightest other than they'll leave a message for Stacie and then I never hear from her UNLESS I were to reach out and call and some how catch her available in office. Getting clear answers or even timely replies to emails has been nearly impossible. After multiple attempts to try and talk to Stacie herself once I did reach her two different phone calls I was turned away with "I'm busy right now doing something else , I can email you once I become available" (mind you then I'd never heard back at all) to which I'd have to reach out again and finally durning one of our last conversation, she provided general information she had to text to me at that moment and discussed two different pricing options for a petting zoo. She explained that she would be reaching out to two separate vendors at different price points. I informed her that I was more interested in the lower-priced option NATURALLY, but made it clear that I would be willing to book either one, as my main priority was securing a petting zoo so I would be waiting to hear back from her regardless who she was able to secure but to just let me know. So money was not the problem. Mind you any time I would voice my frustrations she keep reminding me "I don't make much money off doing this you know, at most I make $20" What should have been a straightforward booking has dragged on for over a month, and I'm still left with uncertainty and decided to not continue "service" with the company FunTime Services Event Rentals. If you're even considering Funtime Services for your event, just be aware that it may take an unreasonable amount of time just to start the process of securing your event. I really expected more professionalism and reliability for catering to such a nice suburban area like Naperville. Just leaving this review to show all what i experienced so anyone else out there knows what entails if interested in booking with them. Seriously proceed with caution.

We did have a slight mishap though and this is a good reason why when running an event it is important to confirm, confirm, confirm. I had suggested to my wife before our event that we call a few days before and the day of the event to ensure delivery. However we were all very busy and neither of us did. Well on the day of our event, the delivery was late. It appears our worst fears occurred and the drivers missed us. I called a half hour before the end of the window and spoke with Stacie. So it indeed was their mistake she immediately got on the case and stayed in touch with me until everything was corrected. Their prices are fair, they have a great new show room on route 59 which makes it so helpful to see tables and options in person. They also have a great selection and great ideas.I give a strong recommendation to consider them for your next party. Just make sure you take my advice and confirm your orders as well as your delivery!

Originally, we were shopping for a day-of coordinator only. I was receiving ridiculously expensive quotes from coordinators. Then, I had one of those beams-of-sunny-heaven-with-angels-singing-in-falsetto moments, when I came across Just Ducky Events. It was so reasonably priced, that we opted for full-service coordination. Our experience was remarkable. Barb went above and beyond what was listed in her contract. She attended a wedding tradeshow with me to brainstorm ideas, met with my vendors, pushed and haggled for better prices, and had incredible aesthetic sense. She was most helpful with her consistency. My now-husband and I have a pretty busy schedule and she didn't hesitate to remind me of what needs to get done by what date, which was exactly what I needed. She had no problem playing "bad-cop". I had a little trouble with my photographer at first, and Barb was more than willing to get in touch with her and resolve my issue. Also, the day before my wedding, I called Barb in near-tears because my officiant (a stubborn family member) was changing the ceremony without my approval. I bugged her in the middle of dinner and she made time to talk to me. She listened to me rant and allowed me to have a bridezilla moment, but then offered some incredible advice on how to proceed dealing with this person. There were other hiccups throughout my wedding but Barb had them under control before I even found out about them. I had my dream wedding and it was largely thanks to Barb Duckworth. I could not have asked for a better planner & coordinator.

I must say that I am so grateful that this other bride left her review for me to read. Barb absolutely made my wedding everything I could have dreamed of. I am a very detailed / organized person, so I had a specific vision of what my wedding would look like. Along with that were countless details that I made or had made to help make our wedding more personal. Barb really took charge and made sure all of my details were noticed. Not only did Barb help to make my wedding look beautiful, but she also helped to create our timeline of events and ensured that we kept on schedule. She made sure that all of our vendors were paid and tipped and went back to our hotel to retrieve forgotten keys so that she could help to pack up our car after the wedding reception ended. I was thinking about the saying, "She went the extra mile", but in this case Barb went the extra marathon worth of miles. I would recommend her to anyone getting married. We loved her and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. Hire her, you won't be disappointed!

My sister (and MOH) is a day-of coordinator herself, as is a close friend from college, and both of them strongly suggested I do it - they made the point that most venue coordinators only really care about their operations and place of business, and their main focus is not your details. I am SO GLAD I took their advice, and so glad I came across Abryanna. At the point I hired her, she had done just a few weddings, but from her professionalism and sunny demeanor, it was obvious she was meant for this. She provided great insight and advice throughout the process, and I appreciate her work for my new husband and I. Her biggest value truly came the wedding day, though. She kept everything running smoothly, finalized venue setup while we were all in hair/makeup, and headed up the team effort to put out a rather large fire just before the ceremony, and kept the flames at bay during the reception. That last part was invaluable to me, as it was a worry throughout the planning year that came true, even though no one believed me it would. I had expressed this concern to Abryanna, and she was prepared. I HIGHLY recommend her services as a coordinator, and if you aren't organized and "with -it," she offers full planning as well!

    An update to my prior review they apparently remove negative reviews on The Knot by abusing the…read moredispute function Completely unprofessional Prior Review: A major disappointment. We contracted them for two months of design work ahead of the date and received nothing for the first month. We prodded them through their frustrating website (the only means of communication since we never got any sort of direct email address) and when we did finally receive a mood board it was 6-8 images of items that were all clearly pulled from a single search on their preferred vendor website. We ended up doing all the decor planning and transportation ourselves so this was a complete waste. We only met our day-of coordinator a week or so ahead of the day and while Emily was professional and courteous Gina basically missed the whole meeting on the phone with someone else as we could hear through the video call. In the end bc we had done all the planning and transport ourselves and our venue coordinator had done all the logistics work with our vendors there wasn't much to do on the day. We found out later through social media they're contracting 3 or more weddings per weekend so if you want any sort of personal attention, look elsewhere. They're clearly optimizing for quantity over quality.

We planned and payed for our whole wedding ourselves and with Gina's help as our day of coordinator, our day was better than we ever could have imagined. Everything that Gina and her associate did to set up was absolutely stunning and she thought of everything. She was so calm and collected and that was priceless, as it helped keep me grounded. She was detailed oriented and made sure everything was set up to our liking. My husband and I both haven't stopped telling each other that hiring Gina was the best decision we made in planning since the day we first spoke to her. We felt an immense weight lifted off our shoulders since the day we hired her and the impact she had on our big day was massive. Would highly highly recommend!
