Finally they said the prescription was sent 30 minutes away to a different location. I asked why that would be since I was at this location and saw the dr at this location. They said they didn't know but wouldn't cancel the prescription to the other location and fill it at this one. I travel to the other location- they say they never got the prescription. I called the minute clinic who said it was sent to the same pharmacy I was seen at originally. We go back. They say they see it is now in a different location. We go there. They have no prescription. 4 cvs and 2 hours of driving later I still have no prescription.

They need to revisit employee training for the people working at this pharmacy. As an example, shouting out "vaginal yeast infection cream" or "plan B drugs" or "psychiatrist medicine" out loud to the entire damn store is in very poor taste. Extremely unprofessional and, if at all possible, I recommend finding another pharmacy to take your business to.

I was greeted as soon as I came in by an enthusiastic cashier. I was a little turned off by the employee stocking an aisle who couldn't stop violently coughing. I felt bad for her, but she sounded like she should've been home. They didn't have what I came for, but I knew it was 50/50 that they would (posterboard...maybe they don't carry it anymore?). If I were in the area again, I would stop here if I needed anything from Walgreens.

I said, sure. I left feeling good that I managed to use some Walgreens loyalty credits. When I reached home, I looked at my phone and discovered that it was not Walgreens credit that I received but he had cashed some of the ThankYou points from my Citi Double Cash account. Walgreens is not the only business to do this. WalMart, Schnucks and CVS do it and I'm sure there are more. I always decline this because they screw you on the exchange. They charge a 25% premium in points used for the credit received versus getting cash from Citi. There is a difference though between Walgreens and the others I mentioned. That difference is that the source of the credit did not appear on the screen that I had in front of me. It was on the checker's screen. So, I did not have a chance to see what was going on and reject it. His question followed immediately after I entered my phone number, so I assumed that it was Walgreens loyalty credit. At the other stores, Schnucks, WalMart and CVS, it is very clear on the POS pad that they are going to charge you more points than the credit you receive. I am sure Citi has a deal with these retailers to split the 25% premium and Citi has a way of getting some of the Double Cash back into their accounts. In return, Walgreens gets some of it as well. If I were cynical, I would suspect that Walgreen's trains their checkers to do this and add a little more to Walgreens accounts as well. This was not a life changing transaction, but I am not happy about the practice. I will think twice before returning to Walgreens and will opt for CVS, which demonstrates more transparency before this happens.

Schuncks has blown me away with their safety protocols since the pandemic began. They are taking…read moreevery precaution to keep their customers and employees safe. They were one of the first stores around to place Plexiglas shields at the registers, mark 6 ft spots near the registers, offer hand sanitizer, host a senior hour and time for those with compromised immune systems, and promote mask wearing. One amazing option Schnucks offers shoppers since March of 2020 is to order groceries through Instacart (with no Instacart Fee) for drive up pick up. There are designated spots right outside the store for these orders. While the shopper is filling the order you can chat in the App and request other items. The Schnucks employees bring your order out to your car wearing a mask and place it in the trunk. The fresh produce and other grocery items I have gotten here all have been excellent quality. I shop at Schnucks much more frequently now. The Woods Mill Road Store employees are outstanding. I will return soon.

She again tells me that I need to let them know in advance so there are "donuts for other people" mind you, I purchased 40 donuts, there were easily 200 more donuts in the case... she then begins to back pedal, maybe she realized how rude she was being. She tried to make small talk, about the weather... "Is it raining?" to which I replied "nope" she proceeds to talk to me about the rain yesterday and I completely ignored her, awful experience. The pharmacy technician told me to come back later and close the window in front of my eyes. And there were 2 other technicians there, it would give her just a minute to give me my prescription. Tech said that I could not get refill as it was not authorized. I assured her Dr had called it in and authorized it for pick up today. She checked and said yes that is correct but the pharmacist said she could not have it. I waited and the pharmacist came to the drive up window and said that although the doctor had authorized the pick up today, my sister has a habit of getting this refill 2-3 days early. I said yes the Dr is aware and he is comfortable that she can have the script and authorized it for pick up. The pharmacist said she would personally need to talk with the dr and make sure he knew that he authorized the pick up it was 2 days before normal. Again this is at 5:30pm today. The pharmacist said the doctor had to personally call her. My sister is leaving for spring break. This is a sleeping pill. So, no sleeping pill for my sis tonight. Who can I talk with at Walgreens? I am beyond disappointed with the level of care and service that was provided to my sister. This pharmacist could have given her the needed medicine that the DOCTOR AUTHORIZED and let her know next time she needed to PERSONALLY talk with the doctor. Seriously? Best pharmacy I've ever used!…read more Fast, friendly service. They ALWAYS have my (difficult to find medication). On the extremely rare occasion that they don't have enough to fill my prescription, they give me what they do have, then they immediately order it and deliver the remainder of that prescription to my home the next day! The owner and ALL employees go out of their way to be helpful and truly care about each and every customer.

Yesterday was the worst visit yet. We came to get some groceries and have lunch with the kids. The…read morelady at the cafe was by herself. Everyone in a very long slow lane was very patient. I got part of my food and took to the husband and kids. I came back for my last item. The lady just plain yelled at me for not waiting for all of it right away and continued to yell that she is alone and it's my job to stand there. Well, it's not my job to get yelled at in front of the full cafe and my own kids for not meeting someone's expectations. It's also not my job to make sure this lady is not alone during a weekend lunch hour. When we were leaving the lady was gone and 3! People took her place. I feel bad for her having a hard day I also had to explain to my kids that I did not do anything wrong. Do better, Sam's Club. Staff the cafe during the lunch hour on the weekend with 2-3 people not one person.
