Delta Eye Medical Group was able to schedule me the same day and most importantly able to diagnose my condition. My appointment was right when it was scheduled and I was not in and out in 10 minutes like other doctors offices. Lady at the front desk on second floor was also very sweet and informative. My appointment with Dr. Adalumo was great. She is very sweet, genuinely cares about her patients, and helpful. She was not in a rush, and I truly felt as though she was fully involved in our conversations, not rushing to finish and move onto the next patient. Also, the Leland Byers who administered my skin test was very sweet and made me as comfortable as possible while getting my injection. The appointment felt rushed, and I barely had an opportunity to ask questions or discuss my pregnancy. My AVS specifically stated I was eligible for NIPT testing, but when I messaged Dr. Chaudhari, her MA responded that I had to wait. I had to push back and reference the instructions I was given before they agreed to let me proceed. I then drove an hour to Sutter after confirming multiple times with the office that I could pick up the test. I waited another hour with almost no communication, only to be told to keep waiting. The front desk interaction with Derek was also extremely rude and hostile when I was simply asking for an update. I took time off work, drove an hour, and ultimately left in tears. All I wanted was basic communication, answers to my questions, and appropriate care for myself and my baby. Unfortunately, I did not feel that patient care was a priority with this team. The nurses were gossiping instead of working and surgery was delayed. Infection was horrible and had to go to the hospital after following instructions exactly. My friend had a similar experience. This place needs to be shut down by the state.
