After my primary care doctor that I had been seeing for 19 years abruptly retired, I was a nervous wreck looking for and trying to find a new doctor. I found Dr. Seitz and was able to be seen within a couple weeks of calling, being a "new patient" this is almost unheard of. I have now been going to Dr. Seitz for a couple of years. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and his staff are friendly, courteous and caring and his office is clean (I personally love that he doesn't want to shake hands, in fact it was a great relief), as for the negative reviews regarding that, it goes to show how smart of a Doctor that he really is and way cool before the COVID cooties arrived). Dr. Seitz is very knowledgeable and does a very good job at explaining conditions and medications in a way where you can understand. He spends a good amount of time with each patient, and fully answers all questions and he's never made me feel dumb for asking a question when I didn't understand something or need more information. I am updating my review as Dr. Seitz is my primary care physician, it has been 2 years since my initial new patient review, and we're in the middle of a pandemic: I still simply can't say enough good things about Dr. Seitz and his practice. The doctor and everyone there are always friendly and professional and the practice is always impeccably clean and well run. Dr. Seitz has also been consistently thorough, attentive, and able to devise a clear and wise plan of action no matter what health concern I bring to him (and I have had quite a mix these past few years). On top of all of those pluses, Dr. Seitz's practice is also very modern and up to date with the times as far as using digital mediums to communicate (patient portal online or app right on your phone!) and easily schedule e-visits (a hugely important ability during a pandemic, but also clearly the way of the future with regards to EHR systems and e-visits). Yea, I won't be returning here. It is obvious the doctor cares more about money than his patients. I am more than just a number... First they tried to charge me for a physical, but after explaining my insurance covers my physical with no co-pay they still charge me a co-pay....wait there's more.... Then I look up and to the left and read a sign that says something like "Doctor Seitz will no longer be shaking hands because of germs"....isn't that what hand washing is for???? My vibes are already off and confirmed about this place at this point. I felt like this place cares more about profit than the people; needless to say I got a refund on my co-pay that I shouldn't of been charged in the first place and just left. read more

Not very happy with this place! Keep in mind my bad experience happen even before I stepped foot in! I made an appointment to see them after my insurance company recommended them. I gave them a call and it started off with a very cold conversation. Short and a "get to the point" type of feel. Just with that made me not want to make an appointment. I made one anyway. I asked if they could verify if my insurance was valid there, they said they would check and call me back in a few days. They never called. My appointment came and i was out of town, so i missed it! I got a call that was more of a lecture than a friendly "hey no show." When i said i had beem traveling and I forgot but I would reschedule they said "either way there is a no show fee!" Really a no show fee? Why not charge me no fee and let me reschedule. I told them i would call back. Few weeks later i get a bill in the mail! You kidding me? Hate when doctors are all about squeezing every penny out of their patients! read more

I am so thankful I found Dr. Seitz. He has an excellent manner, is kind and patient, and he explains everything very well. He provided help for my teenager, and she also felt very comfortable with him. He clearly was concerned about my daughter's health and well-being , beyond just the issue that we had come in for. His staff was also very warm and helpful. Lastly - a comment about the "not shaking hands" sign that some reviewers complain about: honestly, it's medical fact that informal hand contact is a huge infection source. Yes, he could shake your hand and then scrub up - thus spending a moment with his back to you, washing off your contact, instead of sitting down with you, smiling making eye contact, and starting to learn what is the issue. Dr seitz is not a good doctor. All he ever seems to care about is being paid rather than helping his clients feel better, it doesn't help that signs are posted everywhere that he won't shake hands due to germs. I've had problems with him always but tried to stick it out due to the fact that the care I needed wasn't too critical. More recently however, I was hospitalized for a week with double pneumonia and the day before my follow up with him, he had his people call me to let me know that I had an outstanding balance due (due to insurance changes) and that he wouldn't see me unless I paid it along with my current balance. This is not acceptable to me, I was very sick and needed follow up care quickly. I simply didn't have the money due to being out of work. Needless to say I've since found another doctor who has a great bedside manner and is willing to work with me on unanticipated costs while still making me feel like I'm getting the care I deserve. read more

Every one is nice in this office. Dr. Sietz is very prompt in appointment timing. There is no wait at all. He is also very thorough in everything and goes in a order and addresses every one of the concerns. He explains everything like how you would, to a kid. I am very glad that I switched here. read more

" You only NEED ! a doctor when you need a doctor ", cant say enough about this team, not only the quarterback Dr Seitz, but all his players ( staff ) they are the best. The best follow up, no matter how much a pain in the , and I was in so much pain with a herniated disk. They all cared for my needs no matter what they were. I have been in Tracy for almost 2.5 years now and have had the worst doctor experiences when going to see a general / Family doctor. However Dr. Seitz was recommended by my OBGYN office staff and I am so glad I gave him a chance. His staff is really nice and as for Dr. Seitz, he is very thorough and is NOT in a rush when he is in the room as I have found most doctors are in this town. read more

I wanted to give a better rating but, my 1st experience wasn't as pleasant as I was hoping for, especially after reading all the high reviews before going. I arrived early and waited while the one and only receptionists took a call for about 5 min. before acknowledging I was there. I luckily was taken back promptly but, waited for quite a while for the Dr. to come in. After he talked to me for a few min. he decided to take a 10-15 min. call while I waited in the room. I heard the Dr. say "Let's make this brief before he came back into my room." It's hard to feel special when you're just another patient to finish with. There is a sign in the waiting room that says the Dr. will no longer shake hands because of germs. It doesn't scream super friendly to me. We just moved to California and I loved my Doctor. He was kind and friendly. I wasn't just a patient but, a person. I hope that my first visit was just a fluke and next time is better. read more

My wife made me an appointment for a physical. Staff was very nice. Doctor Seitz was excellent. I will continue to come here.

We recently moved to the valley and I needed to research new doctors. I came across Dr. Seitz and made my appointment. It took about a month to get in for a new patient. I came into the office and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a slight wait in the room to see the doctor but well worth it. He is very thorough and addressed all my health issues. I was very pleased with my visit. Finding a good doctor is hard. I would totally recommend him. read more

Dr Seitz is a good doctor, but his time frame is impossible. He closes early twice a week, with no afternoon times. Which makes his longer days full to the max. I've been sick with sinus and ear infections multiple times and had to wait several days before being able to see the doctor. And then his medical advice is "Here's a nasal rinse." It can be incredibly frustrating. When I'm really sick, I can't wait days to get medication, and a good number of times he won't prescribe something at all, so I go to a relative's doctor. Good doctor, just needs more availability. read more

Dr Seitz is FANTASTIC! I recently switched physicians due to changes in location....I am very picky with my doctors, however it was easy picking Dr Seitz as almost every review is a positive one. Even though I am a new patient, he treated me like I was his ONLY patient.....he ran tons of blood test on me, and got me on track with my vitamins. What I like the most about him is that he not only takes his time to listen to me and answers my questions, but he is also very knowledgeable and definitely knows internal medicine. His office is always clean, and the girls that work there are patient and so incredibly kind as is Dr Seitz.. Oh and here is the coolest thing.... they go paperless! There isnt a folder with tons a papers all over the place...eveything is in their computer system and I totally dig that! read more
