She also adored visiting and learning about local senior citizen centers -- cannot wait until she is old enough to volunteer at one. This is a fabulous camp to send your child to if you want her/him to grow up and be a person who makes the world a better place.

Some pieces I've found still have tags on them, and others are one of a kind vintage pieces. I tried on some jeans, and one of the younger, trendier workers that was assisting near the dressing rooms, I think her name was Robin, totally helped me style them. She was so amazing! The prices are somewhat fair, similar to goodwill, some exceeding depending on the brand, but cheaper than a designer consignment store. All of the clothes are donated, and what's even cooler is that all of the workers are volunteers. This one in Thousand Oaks has the most wonderful community of older women who use their time to give back to the community. They're all so nice and kind, and are always up for a conversation. Additionally, they have jewelry, accessories, houseware, and trinkets. The hours are a bit tricky, but it's worth checking out if you are free.

I understand businesses have policies, but I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and flexibility, especially for a disabled customer. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before visiting, particularly seniors and people with mobility challenges.

Another charitable group gathered there to introduce mothers and daughters to options for places they can volunteer over the next six years to fulfill their goals. While I waited for my turn to speak, I checked out the large main room, filled with bright, colorful art projects. Mostly paintings were featured, since they're easy to hang. Still, I could see that other types of art mediums are taught. My understanding is that this is a popular destination for kids' birthday parties, though I could see it as a gal pals' get-together spot, too. I hadn't heard of them before being given the address to come for the event. I was really impressed with finding such a fun, inspiring resource in the community for artists of all ages to release their creative juices.

Food Share is such an important resource and lifeline to Ventura County! The staff at the…read moredistribution center truly care about their mission, and it definitely shows through their actions. At a former job of mine, Food Share allowed the educational non-profit organization I worked for to shop weekly for fresh produce to distribute directly to elementary school students and families served in need, many of whom struggled with food insecurity. This partnership was vital, and very much appreciated by all because it helped improve food access throughout our community at wellness fairs and nutrition classes. Thank you for your hard work! I will never forget about the huge difference Food Share continues to make in countless lives throughout Ventura County, and the value they place on equity.

I highly recommend this clinic. My puppy had a cryptorchid neuter surgery at around 8 months old,…read morewhich was more complicated than a standard neuter. The surgery went well, and the staff took great care of him throughout the process. Recovery was difficult and took several days because of the nature of the surgery, but the clinic provided everything we needed, including pain medication, antibiotics, and a recovery cone. When I felt my puppy still needed additional pain relief, I returned to the clinic, and they were very helpful and prescribed additional medication without any issues. The staff was kind, professional, and caring. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of care and support we received. I am very grateful for their help and would definitely recommend this clinic to other pet owners.
