With their competitor Rite Aid out of business (my usual stop to get such items) I decided this was going to be the next best thing. I had no idea that this location existed. I ended up here by chance. I was actually heading somewhere else until I saw the familiar building. The lot for this locations is a bit wonky. Be careful traversing it and be mindful of the vehicles entering from different directions. Inside, it was your typical setup for a CVS. However, the one item I was looking for was like going on a scavenger hunt. I had went to where I thought it would be, but guess what, it wasn't there. I then just started going up and down aisles until I stumbled on it. What is weird, where I found my item was more in the vitamins section than near the cold medicine where I expected it to be. On top of that, in this section, some items that were in the cold medicine section were repeated in the vitamins. Would have been nice if they just put them exactly where they should have been. I then made it to the travel section and browsed what they had. Grabbed what I was out of and headed to the checkouts. I opted for the self checkout route, as I always do. I wish these registers, for as long as they have been in use, would run more smoothly. Listen, I have already put the item in the bagging area, keep up. Then, without thinking, I printed my receipt. Good thing I had the next hour to wait for the mile long receipt to be done.

They offer to contact my insurance and doctor whenever an issue arises rather than telling me to do it myself, as I have been told when going to chain pharmacies. The wait time is very short and my medications are always in stock. The pharmacists here are also very knowledgable and actually have the time to talk to me. I don't know why I didn't try this pharmacy sooner!

I was told about Whitesells by a friend where I worked with Rebecca and Danielle. These two have been... in a word - Fantastic! Rebecca who does the compounding, is extremely knowledgable about the process, provided me with and excellent education and has been a joy to work with. Danielle is also tremendously nice and helpful which makes the entire experience less stressful. They handle the insurance issues, call you back when they say they are which is important, at least to me. They also have a great medical supply area and just as helpful and professional. Kathy Curran was so thorough helping me navigate through insurance issues and went the extra mile to help. Bottom-Line - I don't even live in the Frederick Area, however, I drive up there in rush-hour 270 traffic to use there services. Could I go somewhere else? Sure, but when you are dealing with prescriptions and medications and other sensitive things, trust and knowledge is important (which they have demonstrated) and at the end of the day just because of something may be more convenient, doesn't make it better.
