Cakes to die for. I asked Karen to make a 50th layered birthday cake for my brother who is a…read morebanjo player and told her to incorporate that theme. She said she would come up with something. Well boy, did she ever. We were all expecting a cake with a banjo design on the icing; instead what she created was just amazing. She replicated an entire banjo including the neck with strings, tuners, the works. And on top of that made a second cake out of cupcakes with an airplane picture on top for my birthday as we're all pilots. And to top all that, the cake itself had to be one of the most delicious we've ever had. Just amazing. If you're looking for goodies for your next big event, look no further than the treats that Karen makes. You won't be disappointed.

I'm from out of town and stopped in quickly to check out some desserts. The first thing I see upon…read moreentering is a dog on the counter, scratching itself...IN A BAKERY. If that's not some kind of health code violation, I dont know what is. But pickings are slim in this tiny town and the business appears to have ok reviews, so I thought maybe this wasn't a daily occurrence and it was out of the ordinary. The woman at the counter was very rude and standoffish, as if I did something wrong by walking in at this time. I noticed the prices and figured they must be pretty good because everything was priced quite steep. Well, I would have preferred dog hair than what I found upon taking the second bite of a very bland, very outdated cupcake. Outdated like stale with icing that was stiff as a board. I was soon struggling to pull out of my mouth what appeared to be a long, blonde human hair that was wrapped up in the insides of my cupcake. Before you say it belonged to me, it absolutely did not. I know this because my hair is short and very brunette.I dont care who you are, that will absolutely make you gag. I threw out what remained after 2 bites, and it didnt hurt my soul by any means because the cupcake sucked, quite frankly. Hard pass from this visitor, never again.

This place is, from what I hear, a cesspool. I have heard a number of people complain about orders…read morebeing wrong, about products being old/stale, and about how the place is managed by a family that is pure chaos with some family members siphoning money and product out of the bakery for all the wrong reasons. You can hear the family at times talking (profanity) out loud within the bakery, sometimes yelling, which is just inappropriate to do at a business. I have tried their products before and some do, in fact, taste old and stale, as well as some products tasting just outright bland. I can't say that I could ever recommend this place for baked goods. Take the extra time to travel to a different establishment, where products and pricing are much better.
