Pricing was fair and he was upfront about it. It's hard to find a handyman who is careful with the small stuff, and he was. The guy is solid!!! I am gonna be calling him again for the next round of projects.

The quality of their work is excellent and you get what you pay for. Eileen came out to measure and then came out a second time to make sure the transition from our existing tile in the laundry room to hardwood floor in our family room would have a smooth transition. We appreciate the extra effort and the time they took to make it look perfect. We looked at so many hard wood floors at their office and compared the options to laminate as well. The staff (Chris) was very knowledgeable. We decided on carpet for the stairs and I would have never known there were so many options of types of carpet for stairs! We were educated on the best options and how different carpets would wear throughout the years. The installers were professional, courteous and on time every day. I would highly recommend Similar Flooring for any large or small project. You wont be disappointed in the professionalism and the quality of their work.

Con-Quest Contractors replaced the waterline in my neighborhood. They were scheduled to work here…read morefor about two months and there was a lot of concern amongst neighbors leading up to the work starting regarding how we would be impacted when trying to leave or return home since there is only one road in and out of our relatively large neighborhood.  Just as the work was starting, Randy stopped by and left a business card. He said if anything came up or I had any questions, I could give him a call. And, believe it or not, when I called him, he picked up! He was kind, honest and reliable - not something you find often these days.  Once the work started, everyone was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of Randy's team and the general concern his team had for the way their work was impacting the homeowners. I have two little girls and the flaggers would greet us with a smile and a wave as we waited for our turn to pass and the girls were yelling "Hi!" out the car windows. I never had to wait more than a minute to pass which meant that they all made it a priority to stop what they were doing and move the equipment to the side of the road so I could pass.  At night, the streets were clean and tidy; free of excess construction material and more importantly, trash from snacks, drinks or lunches that day! I have worked with, and been around, contractors and construction companies my whole life and most have a "get out of my way and let me get this work done" mentality. That was not the case with Con-Quest.  It's obvious that Randy has high expectations for his team and they deliver! I would gladly have them do work on my house or in my neighborhood.

More than tile and fine stone, Albert Tile & Fine Stone is a full service general contractor and…read morethey just brought to life a new bathroom and laundry room addition in our old Victorian. While the space was small, the project was fairly complex. They turned what was a rudimentary laundry area with side by side machines, pedestal sink and separate water closet into a beautiful full bathroom with tiled shower and separate laundry area with stacked W/D. It looks fantastic! The scope included moving and installing new plumbing, building walls to create the new bathroom space, all new electrical and lighting installation, build out of the shower pan and curb, all floor and wall tile, old window removal and new window installation in the shower, waterproofing, new gyp board throughout, mudding and taping, plus a variety of other details. Rami Albert and his team are highly professional and true craftspersons. They offered excellent creative suggestions for several of the design elements and were patient when I'd occassionally change my mind or take extra time to make a decision. There was a lot of comfort in knowing they were exceptionally skilled in tile and stone, as the project had a lot of tile (2" black hex on the floor and 4x6" white subway tile on three of the bathroom walls) and a custom granite-topped shower curb. They also created a gorgeous custom shower niche using the black floor tile as a contrast, and sleek black metal edging around the window and niche, as well as on the wall edge and on top of the tile baseboard. The result is modern and clean, yet still draws on the Victorian elements of the home. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. It was a pleasure seeing and chatting with Rami, Jose, Jaime and Manual throughout the process. It was fun to have them around and after each long day they'd do an excellent job cleaning up. Clean-up is a litmus test for a construction team and they passed with flying colors! I highly recommend Albert Tile & Fine Stone and look forward to working with them on future projects.
