The colors are fresh and I love how they patched cracks and caulked things in. I give them 3 stars for a few reasons. The first being the mess. Our house was EXTREMELY dusty with gypsum when we arrived home at the end of the project, even in the insides of closets that hadn't even been painted. It took us days to wash and wipe everything down, and we were sneezing and itching the whole time and had to wear masks. I was told that everything would be cleaned with Simple Green, so it was very disconcerting that it clearly wasn't. Even now, weeks later, you can bump a baseboard and white dust will fall off/out. We have green overspray on our light colored stamped concrete walkway and the exterior siding of the house around it, texture on the tops of ceiling fans and light switches, and paint drips on our interior wooden floors, which had been covered. It seems like while we were home they were very meticulous, but while we were gone they felt free to be sloppy and disregard our property and belongings. Second, they removed a ceiling fan at my request, which I appreciated, but we came home to it broken, with paint all over it, and found it sitting in the pouring rain on the porch. Needless to say, we had to purchase a new ceiling fan and are very bummed that the old one is no longer usable. Third, I was not pleased that my request for a change order was ignored. The estimator, Rodger, was great. Friendly, accommodating and promised me the world. Once I signed the contract, though, I never heard from him again. I had sent him a change order in writing two days after I signed and never heard back. I figured he maybe would tell the crew what I wanted. I felt like I had to hound the project manager about things that weren't done "correctly" because nobody ever acknowledged the change order. I even told him what I wanted more than once, and offered to pay extra to ensure they got done. But in the end I just gave up on getting everything I wanted.

One was booked until Nov, one declined the bid since he was paint only and limited carpentry, one gave a really high bid, and then there was Felix who we eventually chose. Felix was perhaps the most transparent in terms of work scope and he took the time to measure and estimate how much wood and siding would be needed. He also has teams of both carpenters and painters so he does dry rot repair and painting. They also use ladders with fall protection for the high places, as opposed to scaffolds which would of course add more cost. The whole job took 2 weeks - 4 days of prep, and 3 days of painting using mostly sprays and hand painting of siding. Very professional job and 5 stars: 1. Daily communications by text and updates 2. Thorough covering of windows and doors 3. Clean work area after each day 4. Extra credit for getting rid of loose wiring, the previous owner's dish, and fixing a broken gate 5. Honest and transparent pricing - we had a change order since during prep, more dry rot was found than at first glance. Highly recommend Felix for your exterior wood repair and painting needs.

He was the most responsive from the initial contact and continued through the day of the job. This was a job to repatch my shower ceiling, which property management and their team's initial work left me with a lot of concerns. Joe was very thorough and called me to ask questions about the pictures I uploaded to better understand the situation and had suggested that I save my money since the "repair" was just done, but for the sake of peace of mind, I asked that he redo the work property management didn't do correctly. Joe was ready to go on the day of the job and arrive early, inspected the scope of work once more, and made one last attempt at having me save my money by holding off but I insisted on moving forward. He showed me the area he worked on (my area of concern) before closing it up. Before I knew it, he was done with the job and even took care of the painting for me that I spent several days overthinking how'd I shower if primed and painted it after I got off work instead. Of the 4 companies that…read morequoted they weren't the cheapest or the most expensive (one company quoted $15k-unbelievable!). Are house is a 2000 square feet tri-level. This was early July and they were booked out to the end of September. They ended up getting here mid September which worked out perfectly. The house hadn't been painted for at least 25 years and in need of some TLC. The two man crew started pressure washing everything. That was the loudest we heard them working. Every other aspect of the job they were very quite. Also Juan and Miguel were orderly and organized. I was impressed with their attention to detail and their politeness. After scraping, filling, repairing stucco and puddying the wood and sanding down went primer. Next were the eves and gutters. Then base coat and trim. All of the stucco was back rolled insuring good adhesion with hand cut in trim work. The issues I pointed out were dealt with without issue or complaints and they showed up every day until we the job was completed which in this case were 8 days. Would I hire them again? Yes!
