It's now June so I've had time to settle in with my carpet and wanted to provide a review of the experience. I read lots of reviews and research things to death before I make a decision so I don't give people a high rating just to be "nice". I also consider myself to be be a little hard to please because I'm used to doing a lot of work on my home myself and I have a high standard of quality while being thrifty. That being said, I shopped around a few quotes and came back to FlooringRVA. Long story short...I felt the price I paid for what I wanted was spot on. I had a good experience with the two man crew that came to install the carpet and padding. And 6 months later things are still meeting my expectations. Robert, the owner, was the real reason behind going with FlooringRVA a second time. He personally came to measure and offer suggestions. I preferred to text and Robert made himself available at all times throughout the day when I had questions. I didn't always expect an immediate response but one was always received. I could tell he and his staff were committed to my being satisfied throughout every step in the process and I couldn't find that level of customer focus with any other competitor. They said they would send a check to cover the cost of the painting (previously, the sent the painter out and had him bill their business). The check has yet to arrive and I question whether it will actually cover the cost of the paint job, should it ever actually come.

The driver, Randy, had to skillfully back down a long alley in very tight quarters to access our house. We had to wheelbarrow concrete across our existing garage floor and Randy would immediately water down any areas that we accidentally splashed with concrete during transport. I was very impressed with his professionalism as well as the cleanliness of his concrete truck. These days it is refreshing have such a positive experience with a business! .

NOTE: I worked with Moe Satari at CGM and purchased my countertops via Cabinets to Go…read more Moe was patient and effective resolving issues created after the wrong color tile was installed for the shower floor and the wrong kitchen sink was delivered to the job site (not CGM errors). Getting the sink originally specified would have delayed our project 6-8 weeks. The incorrect tile color was still great, but required a change to the countertop stone selection. Moe walked me through the CGM slab yard and helped find a countertop slab which worked with the tile in the kitchen and bath and was also an option available for Cabinets to Go clients. I love it even more than my original choice! Moe also worked with the fabrication team and CGM management to find a solution which allowed us to use the sink we had on hand vs. having to re-order. This saved time and money. When white caulk was used in the bath vs. the clear used in the kitchen, the look wasn't what I wanted given the charcoal gray stone chosen. With CGM, I experienced zero pushback and no excuses getting that error corrected promptly and properly. Too bad this approach isn't more typical of those in the construction trades! How a business addresses problems says so much about their integrity and customer service. I'd definitely use CGM for future countertop installations. It was a good experience all around.

Big mistake the ice froze the sealer and now our concrete drive is falling apart. Constantly chipping and flaking. We have tried giving them the opportunity to make it right but they now want another $14-25k to resurface their poor performing product. They say they offer a strong warranty but I fail to see it. They clearly don't stand behind their products or their customers. I would Submit pictures for all so you can steer clear of this money pit company but unable in this review. Save you money and your concrete. This mistake will cost us a fortune to correct. Thank you Ogburn for taking advantage of a fellow veteran and his family. Disappointing customer care.

The driveway cracks have been repaired, and the badly sunken and cracked carport concrete slab has been leveled, and the massive crack has been fixed. Highly recommend Window Depot, Richmond, VA who replaced our front doors (solid/storm), side panels and windows. Our first encounter was with Phil who did not pressure us however, his story of Window Depot being owned and operated by Frank & Laura Amory let us know that they are not the typical window replacement company. All employees are invested in the company from sales to installation and their motto, "We Create Happy Customers" are exactly what they have done for us.
