Fantastic aviation museum! Tour was great, the hangar itself is even amazing. Lots of interest for military buffs of all ages!! Free admission, donations only.

Had a lovely tour today at the Commemorative Airforce Museum with Blaine! What a great ambassador for your company. Thank you Blaine for taking us around the hangar/museum and for all your wisdom!

This museum is absolutely breathtaking! I had taken some items from the Cold War era as a donation and did not expect anything like what I saw. They work on WW II and Korea era mostly and all of their planes can fly! They also have some that were undergoing annual maintenance. Have you ever seen a Zero with the skin removed? How about a tiny plane converted to an ambulance at Guadalcanal before helicopters were available. Part of the hanger has been converted to an area where there are fascinating, historical static displays. This is not a big operation but the interest quality is through the roof. Being a history buff, I could have easily spent the whole day looking, asking questions and getting in the way. I definitely will be back and it will be for a several hour visit! Go! Highly recommended!

Very small but full of history museum. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Much better that many larger museums.

It's filled with so much WWII history and there is a museum inside that I found to be the most fun to look at.

As one of the longest…read morecontinuously inhabited sites in all of North America, it wan an honor to add our celebration to the shores of the Sacred Springs that have flowed there for millions of years. The unmatched natural beauty of Spring Lake was the perfect back drop to our ceremony on the water's edge at Sycamore Point. We rented the pretty white chairs for seating down there. One thing I would note about that site is that the walk from our ceremony to the dinner was a bit long for our elderly guests. We decided to hire a pedi-cab for a couple hours to shuttle folks around the park before and after the ceremony. I highly recommend this, or a golf cart, if you plan your ceremony for Sycamore Point. We rented out the glass-bottom boats for our guests, which made for a truly unique and memorable cocktail hour before dinner on the rooftop of the historic hotel (now the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment). They even let us use their tables and 50 chairs! (We did have to rent some extras for our large group). The staff was great and there was ample parking for our guests. As Bobcat Alumni, river-rats, and stewards of the planet, my husband and I couldn't be more thrilled to have shared this natural treasure with all the people we love. Thank you Spring Lake for such a perfect experience!

To end it all, the included aquarium makes your day at Spring Lake one for the books!
