We drove from South Tahoe to here because of its great reputation. Both of my kids got items from here. The shoe rack is behind clothing racks of odds and ends of again various styles, sizes etc. Doesn't seem to have any sort of organizational system going on. If you walk in the back you pass through a vinyl record section all of them covered in a layer of dust. I'm sure there are some great oldies in there for you collectors. Keep walking you find yourself in a back room filled halfway with hardback and paperback books. The old book smell is overwhelming but if you like that like I did it brought back memories of libraries and used book stores with my dad. Thanks for the nostalgia. The other half of this room is tools and hardwares I was not interested in any of that. I felt as if I was on that hoarders show. I'm sure there was so many treasures I missed because the sheer magnitude of stuff was looking over my head. It was too much to handle. Slight old smell maybe some organization would help this store owner out. I want to go back in the future and see if what is new if anything. There may be items of value there you gotta search through the treasure boxes.

It's like a huge rummage sale but many things are new. Many novelty items and plenty of ancient treasures. Don't be shocked at the sticker. Hand made, real leather hats don't come cheap. Neither do lifetime warranties. So the price, while expensive, is not terribly out of line. This is a very clean store for an old building. The women provide excellent service. They stop at nothing to find the perfect hat and make sure it fits great and looks great. Fun clothes, jewelry and lotsa collectibles will easily keep you occupied for oodles of time.

Didn't appreciate the behaviour and they made an already tough weekend even harder with their lack of class and empathy BTW - our junk Consisted of items such as waterford wine glasses and cedar chests, brand new china sets, etc - I guess one mans junk is not their treasure :)

My eldest son found cute items for his girlfriend. Also many cute locally made items as well. From candles to leather goods. Setup is simply gorgeous, clean, and organized. Customer service was excellent the women here are so sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend, must stop by if you love thrifting or would like to give it a try.
