I love to thrift! While vacationing with the family I found this very cute and classy thrift store. So much to offer, many of the items are very cared for ready for a new owner/adventure. My eldest son found cute items for his girlfriend. Also many cute locally made items as well. From candles to leather goods. Setup is simply gorgeous, clean, and organized. Customer service was excellent the women here are so sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend, must stop by if you love thrifting or would like to give it a try. read more

I've been buying stuff at thrift stores my whole life and this place had some of the best quality/pricing I've ever seen. Aside from being extremely pleased with the haul I walked away with, I can't think of a better shopping experience I've had in years, including comparison to high-end boutiques. I called right before close to see if they had any swim shorts in my size and Kelly checked while I was on the phone and immediately texted me photos with sizes and prices. I also bought an adorable vintage cooler for my daughter and a bunch of excellent button-downs. Purchases aside, Kelly gave me great local intel on a beach where I could use my new swim shorts to take a dip in the lake with adjacent spot for a sunset beverage. Cherry on top was learning from Kelly that this place actually benefits some great causes, namely landfill diversion and housing needs for the hard-working people who keep that region running. read more

I have left like 5 reviews in my whole life; a week later and I have to share my experience, it was that horrible. How we were treated in this store was pretty awful, and while I don't believe that people should use sites like this to vent, I really think people should know about this. We needed a quick pair of shorts for a dunk in the lake, and visited a couple of places before we found Yardsale & Co., who had a couple of options for us in my husband's size. It seemed like a pretty high quality place, and after looking around for a minute saw that some of the clothing seemed pretty unique and brand new. We decided to shop around a bit. Prices were excellent for what we were getting. We went into the dressing room to try on 6 or 7 items. Blazers, sweaters, shorts, shirts, etc. We went in together, like we do at literally every other place we've been to. There was no sign on the door at all, and we didn't tie up the dressing room for very long. Maybe 5 minutes. A few minutes in, there was a loud knock on the door. The young lady cashier we said hi to when we first went in (blond, about 25 or so, don't know her name) asked us how it was going. My husband said that we were doing great, and although we thought it was strange that she pounded on the door after 3 minutes, I put it out of my mind. After all, it was the only dressing room and someone might be waiting. We came out, and I put the items we didn't want to buy back where we found them. My husband went to the front desk with four items, and started the checkout process. The girl was a bit cold and disdainful, and didn't respond when we tried to engage good-naturedly with her. She didn't say much in general, but said out of nowhere, "Just so you know, one person in the dressing room at one time." My husband and I looked at each other like, REALLY? That's super weird, but my husband apologized anyway. She mumbled, "Not cool." She proceeded to complete the checkout, and actually looked up and glared at me for a few seconds. I held her eyes, because I was pretty pissed at that point. She then proceeded to take the zip up blazer and sweater we just bought, turn them basically inside out, and crumple them into a ball. She tried to shove it into a bag, but was having trouble so I helped her out. I don't know what her deal was, but we were talking about how crazy rude she was on the way to our car. My husband thought she didn't pay attention to what we were wearing when we came in, and might have thought we were stealing something. It didn't even occur to me, but that would make so much sense!! We are just honest public servants who were trying to patronize a local business. We were wearing button-ups and jeans, and didn't bring in a bag or purse. But based on her bad attitude, it would explain a lot if she thought we stole something. We actually had to come back, because in all the confusion I think she forgot to give us the receipt and we forgot to check for one. We didn't trust at all that she wouldn't accuse us of stealing after how she treated us. We went back, and waited until the man she was helping was done purchasing a few items. She was smiling, joking, personable with him. He told her to have a good day. "You toooo!" My husband remained sweet, calm, and humble as he always is, and politely asked for a receipt. She printed one out for us, and he thanked her and told her to have a great day. She ignored him. WHAT? I don't like calling people the b-word, but she was up there. She was so overtly rude and I was so angry that she was taking out whatever assumption she made about us (or him) on my husband. I don't know if it was the stealing thing, or some other prejudice, but I don't really care her reasoning. If she only knew what kind of big-hearted, calm, honorable, and strong person my amazing husband is, she would change her tune. You can't judge someone by looking at them, and I felt so ENRAGED that she was treating him as less-than. He deserves everything good in this world, and has done so much for so many people for so long. So angry. As much as I loved that spot, I can't go back. She was just SO rude. And my husband was so polite and lovely to her anyway. I just don't get it... read more
