We were curious as to why LA natives name drop these places so often so we wanted to give it a try while in Long Beach. Service was decent with no complaints and the food was made fresh to order. The only drawback was that I was hoping they put my fresh fried bird in one of their classic striped LOUISIANA boxes as it was piping hot and instead they just placed it in a brown paper bag. Upon tasting the chicken it had its own unique taste and flavor that's not comparable to any chicken place we've ever been to in which we appreciated. Family loved it and would not be against trying this spot again for some of their other offerings. We would also like to try other locations to compare and contrast if we're were up to it in the future
