Lemon pepper wing, needs help with crispy texture, too wet!

Good variety of flavor options. Friendly staff. Requested for my chicken to be fried extra crispy (I hate wet chicken). It was not. The skin had a soft texture as if it sweated in a takeout box (I had an open lid). This place has the potential to be good, once they perfect the art of a crispy wing.

Might say I'm doing too much, but when you want something, you just got to get up and do it. I love their chicken wings, especially the Dynamite wings, my number 1 picked for flavor. They have pretty much everything, not just chicken wings, so check them out and explore their menu. Big thanks to aka Candie and her team for the great customer service. Very friendly and easygoing. Was very helpful when asked about their menu or popular items of the day. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Main: 1. 15 pcs Chicken Wings (5) Dynamite Wings (5) Smokin Spice Wings (5) Jalapeño Peppers Wings Cook fresh upon ordering to give that satisfaction taste. What can I say? Expectations met and satisfied. Their freshly cook when ordered to deliver that crispy flavorful wings are out of this world. Im more of the dry-rubbed type of guy cause I'll do the moisturizing with their ranch dipping on the side or extra sauce of your choice upon request. IYKYK! I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is limited, so best to come during non rush hour. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

I was deciding on lunch with the fam and my aunt recommended SoCal Wings. After browsing their…read moremenu, I was sold and placed a phone order. Our order consisted of four SoCal fries (which are basically buffalo fries from The Buffalo Spot with a drizzle of cheese and ranch), a 10-piece nugget, a small fry, a large order of mozzarella sticks, a Thai tea, and a few sides of sauces. To speak bluntly, the experience turned sour for me as soon as I started placing my phone order. While I was ordering sauces, I was rudely cut off by the man working: "Yeah, yeah, anything else?" I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, even after mentioning it was my first time ordering and kindly asking questions about their sauces. The customer service here just overall gave me the ick. Anyways, onto the food. I was super excited for my SoCal fries. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I opted for the spicy BBQ. On first impression I was surprised with the generous portions. I ordered a small Socal fries that looked more like a medium. As soon as I dug into my meal, I was met with immediate disappointment; the popcorn chicken on my SoCal fries was extremely stale. It tasted as if they served us three-day-old fried chicken that had been left sitting out. My siblings and mom also agreed the chicken was super hard. I ended up just eating some of the fries and threw the rest away. Before tossing it, I tried drenching the fries in their Cajun sauce (which is over $1 per sauce, btw), and even though I really wanted to like it, it had a weird aftertaste. On top of that, I just couldn't get past how hard the chicken was. The Thai tea, fries, and mozzarella sticks were just decent. I'd also like to mention that when I was placing my order over the phone, the man said my total was $67 and some change. When I paid in person, the total somehow jumped to $83.69. I assumed that included the Cajun sauces I ordered over the phone, but it actually didn't. I ended up paying a second transaction for the sauces, which was around $8. Had I possibly been charged for the side of attitude I was also served? To reiterate: the service here sucks. Overall, I won't be back as the quality doesn't match prices. You'd think that a joint that specializes in fried chicken and wings would serve fresh chicken but on the contrary, my chicken was inedible, gross, and clearly old. I love supporting local businesses, but I refuse to support a place that exhibits rude customer service and serves subpar frozen food that I could throw together at home. I don't recommend this spot as there are much better establishments in the area.

The girl at the register was friendly & attentive. It wasn't busy at the time because it was a weekday around 4p. I was surprised how good the pizza was. Thick (not paper thin) sliced pepperoni & thick ham pieces topped this cheesy pizza. Fantastic airy crust. This pizza reminds me of an old pizza parlor style but better! This isn't a thin crust wood fired oven style pizza. Wedges were crispy and large portion size too. Loved the self serve drink fountain as many places don't offer them anymore. Great place to watch a game, bring the family or just have really good pizza. Will definitely return.

We ordered the veggie pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza, lemon pepper wings, and hot wings, and the potato wedges. Our party had roughly 15 people and that was more than enough to feed us all and we had plenty of leftovers. The veggie pizza and the pepperoni pizza were DELICIOUS! The cheese is so good, and they do not skimp. The BBQ chicken pizza was good but we all thought it needed more BBQ sauce. The wings were crunchy and full of flavor! The wedges were cut to a decent size, seasoned well and crunchy on the outside. Their ranch is also great, I am not sure if it's made in house but it tastes like it is. The staff were incredible accommodating, super sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed. They were showing the baseball game so the TVs were a little loud but overall it was a really great place. It was the best way to end the night after graduating with my masters degree! Woot woot!

That said, I have come back many times for both from Geeko. There is plenty of parking. There is a small dine in area with maybe 6-8 tables, but I think many people order to go. The staff are soooooooo nice. They take the time to ask her preferences and encourage me to be adventurous like giving me a side of the spicy sauce that I was initially hesitant to try. (the spicy sauce is definitely on the more spicy side, but just shy of covering up all other flavor) Ordering ahead on the phone is pretty easy since they don't have a super extensive menu. If you are in a hurry and you are ordering wings, all ahead. The wings are made to order and they come out so crispy and so juicy (but hot!). Some wings you get for the combo of the sauce and the chicken, these ones I find myself ordering the crispy original because I get to savor the crunchy with the beautiful umami of the chicken and it is not at all bland. If you order when you arrive, the kimbap is ready in about 5 minutes, but the chicken take maybe another 5-10 mins. Last time I went I also got kimchi fried rice (literally didn't know it was on the menu because I have tunnel vision on the wings). It's a smaller portion than some, but the flavor was so big (rich flavor and spicier than most I've tried). It was the perfect dish for being sated but not overstuffed. I'm definitely working that into the rotation of my order (wings plus one other thing ) in the future!

I love fried chicken, and this style is not my style, it okey, flavorful and the pieces are small. For some reason the legs is more juicier than the thighs (abit dried for my taste). The hot sauce is over power of vignette so a it too sour for me but not enough spicy. The fish, however is perfectly cooked and coded. Juicy inside and perfectly thin crusty outside. The tartar sauce is abit off for me but eating by itself is just fine for me. Fries are good but I'm not into it so..but perfectly cooked and crunchy and pipping hot. For me, the fish here is WAY much better than the chicken from the size, the taste and the favor...so good. Also, if you want dessert after the meal, they do have donuts so perfect place for the whole meal for sure.

I got the 40 Pack with Saigon Street, Korean Kick, Peking and Cali Rub. Sauce coverage was good, but the wings themselves tasted overcooked. I can forgive to-go wings losing some crisp, but the meat itself was tough, chewy and dry. That's the part you can't sauce your way out of. Saigon Street was my favorite flavor. It had the Vietnamese fish sauce wing profile I wanted: savory, a little sweet and solid overall. I would've liked more tang, but I'd order the flavor again. The problem was that almost half of that batch were tiny overcooked flats with barely any chicken on them. At that point, they're basically saucing bones. Korean Kick was solid: sweet with a little heat, pretty much what I expected. Classic thick Yangnyeom profile without blazing spice. Cali Rub reminded me of a BBQ-style seasoning, but there wasn't enough rub on mine. Smoky, sweet and it works well. I actually enjoyed this one a lot, it just needed more rub. Bomb flavor, light execution. Peking was my least favorite. It was edible enough, but it tasted more like char siu than Peking. Deep red, thick, sweet-savory and missing the plum-style tang I expected. Basically char siu that never saw the fire. If they called it char siu, I'd probably have fewer complaints. Calling it "sweet and sour" just made the missing tang stand out more. The seasoned fries were rough. They're that battered, seasoned dredge-style fry, similar to Rally's or Checkers, so they're already on the oily side by design. Enjoyable for a few bites and that's about it. The garlic noodles had a really good chewy texture, but they were dry as hell and the garlic was missing in action. I mostly tasted parmesan and parsley more than anything. Great chew, no garlic, no moisture. For dipping sauces, the blue cheese was okay. The honey mustard leaned more savory, almost like Chick-fil-A's Honey Roasted BBQ packet, instead of bright, sweet and tangy. Not really what I want from honey mustard. Veggies were fine: thick cut and crisp. Pickup was fine, but the location is annoying if you're just trying to grab food and go. You have to park in the structure and pull a ticket. First 90 mins free if you wanna walk around or dine in. Overall, Fire Wings has good flavor ideas, but this order had too many execution issues. I'd still consider trying it again because some flavors worked, but the chicken needs to meet the sauces halfway.
