When the technician initially came out, he arrived with an insufficient amount of refrigerant and said he "ran out" and needed to order more. The next day, the office called not to fix the issue, but to request more money to come back--completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I asked basic questions for clarification, the intake representative (who identified herself as the owner's daughter) became defensive and rude, accusing me of "pushing back" when I was simply trying to understand the situation. I ended up getting a second opinion from another HVAC company, and they confirmed the leak was minor, easy to fix, and covered under the same warranty--with no additional charges, including a full refrigerant top-off. This company is dishonest and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding them and always getting a second opinion.

One of them said we were low on freon and tried to bend us over for 500 bucks, and when I got a second opinion the second big company said the freon level was fine. Neither of them fixed the machine, one said they wanted 15 grand for a new system, and the other was not helpful either. So after years living with a cold house and using emergency heat, I called this company and Tony sent Gabriel out and he put a capacitor on the machine and it works so well I can't even imagine it. Mine you we installed a pellet stove because of how bad this heater is, well our heater works fine, but the two large heating companies that work in Petaluma are horrible, I wont mention names. The one named after a guys name in the garden of eden wasn't as bad as the other company, but they wont even service you two months out they are so busy. These guys came within hours. After talking to Martin I gave them a shot, very satisfied, bill under 400 dollars and the heater works better then ever.
